The wildly popular Harry Potter books, and now movie series, have spawned a legion of fans.

One fan, who in an e-mail calls himself a 22-year-old Michigan computer geek and an "adult" Harry Potter fan, says he has developed a Harry Potter news search engine. Jeff Guillaume's creation scans news sources and feeds news onto a Web site called the Harry Potter Automatic News Aggregator. The site uses a content syndication technology called "Rich Site Summary."

Some of the "news sources" the techie scans? The Hogwarts Wire and iharrypotter.net. Some of the exciting Potter news? There's apparently a Harry Potter "mimicking book" in Russia.
