Hermione/Snape.

I've found myself opening to that ship a bit more...

Its not bad, actually. I think it was something you said before that made something click with me, something about having a crush on a teacher... *shiver*...I can certainly relate to that... *grin*

WickeDraco, I didn't make that - but I can't remember who did. *frown*

Not only am I terrible with fanart - but I don't have the slightest idea how to scan stuff... *shrug*

- but if i had a Harry Potter slashy coloring book, I suppose I could use crayons and tear it out and take it to the Kinkos and have them put it on a disk for me and...

I read a good parody fanfic, where they were at a deatheater meeting. The meeting was mainly Voldemort whining about Harry reading his diary. Afterward he mentioned the "Dark Revel." All they did was play spin the bottle, and NO one wanted to kiss wormtail. It was mostly making fun of wormtail. It was more like a girls slumber party than what most people think of as deatheater meeting.

yipee for femmeslash!! I am supposed to be femmeslash queen in these waters, but I've been neglecting the ships, and this thread *sigh* I'm glad it's still kind of here.....

Mrs. Becky Black I agree with all your femmeslash choices!! (although perhaps not all at once) haha

I vote that we look for someone for Arabella Fig. Weird old Squib ladies need love, too.

HAHAH, Gryffindor? who do we pair her with? I read one that came out before we knew she was a squib, and she was only disguised as an old lady, they paired her with Sirius.
In a het ship its obvious - pair her with Filch. But her femmeslash partner? I don't know.

I can't see JKR writing to little kids about gay and lesbians...

It doesn't matter if any particular person can see it or not. Characters and Ships is almost entirely speculation. You're mature enough to realize that if you hate Indian food you should get out of India, right?

T4L0N- What's wrong with little kids reading about lesbians and gays, may I ask? It's not like they are illegal.

ScintillatingStar- I miss you!!! *huggles* You are the femmeslash Queen. *bows down* We mustn't let the thread die!

Ginnatrix? Wow, that's one of the coolest names. I never really thought of that pairing, nor have I read any fanfics. Judyqeen, have you read any? I bet you have.

T4L0N, there will be no explicit slash relationships in the books. Some people believe it is possible that there are implicit ones. There will be no sexy slash scenes in the book, but then again, I don't think the het ships will be discussed that much in the books either.
This thread is not mainly about canon. It is about fanfic, and anyone can write fanfic with any character they want. For the most part we are talking about fanfic here.

ETA- Wickedraco, yes I have. And I usually prefer het. The best femmeslash fic I have ever read was Cho/Ginny. Who knew being dumped by Harry could bring two girls together like that.

Ginnatrix interests me as a concept, but I loathe Bellatrix from the marrow of my bones. Every time I hear her name I want to slap her across the face with a shovel.

Bah. Ginny's a spunky redhead. Spunky redheads are always able to kill people in their baths and escape, while making a rude gesture over their shoulder.

Well, Bellatrix isn't so much evil as an obedient golem constructed of raw suck.

That sucks. Try to take it easy.

Red heads are turn ons. Anyone with a functioning reproductive system can agree to that. Why would she get with Bellatrix though? Ginny doesn't strike me to be the type who wants what they shouldn't have, or else she'd have ended up with Nott. *shrugs*

Yeah, Lily/Narcissa is the sh*t. It could support James/Lucius and Draco/Harry. Better yet, all of them in one fic!

What would it be called, "Generations"? Would the plot be that these two families must be bound by queer boinkage or the world will be torn asunder?

Nah, it'd be called something really corny, and have one of those sappy endings. :P

Harry and Draco could fall for each other. And when their families find out, the moms try to sort it out but end up falling making out, and then the dads will try and end up shagging in some stew stained room.

judyqeen, any insight?

How would the families feel?
Well, unless you go for some alternative universe where his parents were alive or include Ron and Hermione in Harry's "family" Harry would not care one bit what his family thought. I doubt if he would see the Dursleys after book 7. Including Ron and Hermione, I would imagine Hermione accepting it and Ron hating it. But I think Hermione could talk some sense into him. The Dursleys would never accept it, but who cares about them?
How would the Malfoys feel? I could see them really hating it or really loving it. They would love having a wealthy famous wizard in the family, but they would hate Harry because he opposed the dark lord. I can see it either way.

Yeah, in almost every single [Drarry] fanfic, Ron despises the idea of Harry dating Draco. (or whatever you call their relationship)He gets into a fight with Harry where he says something hurtful (or vice versa) and they don't speak for a while. On the other hand, Hermione, who at firs is a little skeptical about the situation, but accepts it and attempts to defend Harry against Ron. She tries to knock some sense into him in vain. He comes around, and accepts it partially but assures Harry he'll break Draco's face if he gets all touchy with him in front of everyone.

The Malfoys wouldn't accept it. Draco would risk his whole future by being with Harry (what does that remind you of, Liz_Malfoy? *coughHP_Secretscough*).

judyqeen: thanks for clarifying that (on the last page). I thought you guys were talking about canon discussion and I am just not under the impression that JKR would write about it. I mean, she's already said she wouldn't write about teenage mothers, child abuse, etc etc etc. Mainly because they are not related to the story, if she wanted to write about them, she would make a separate book. But I think it would ruin book 7 (for me) if she wrote about slash/femme slash (not saying that you said she would, just for reference =D). I don't know why, just don't think it would be a good ender for me...
