We already know that there is going to be another companion anyway. The actress who is going to be the new companion is called Freema Agyeman. She was in last weeks episode playing a different character, which I think is a bit strange. But anyway, she will be the new companion. |

That is a good point Lucinda Harkan Black. I suppose that could make sense. But if Rose says she will never leave the doctor, then how does he have another companion?
Actually, what I meant was that she obviously gets out of the room with the Daleks, because someone mentioned that it looked like they weren't going to get back to each other. I think she'll die because I really don't see how else they're going to separte the two of them. Ah well, we'll find out soon. Less that two hours. |

An hour to go! I agree Lucinda Harkan Black that Rose will get out of the room with the Daleks because she'll definatelty die at the end of the episode. Xandrolar, if Jackie and Micky die there won't be any point of Rose staying home anymore. She hasn't got anyone exept that friend we herd of. I can't remember her name.

When the Doctor opened the Vortex, the Black Dalek first ordered the attack, but then when it realised it couldn't succeed, it said initiate tempral displacement (or something like that) and vanished. Also, didn't ya just LOVE the Daleks sense of humor. "This isn't war, its pest control" I was staring at the screen and then just burst ut laughing. One gripe, one... SMALL gripe.. the Vortex was open, Rose was being pulled to her death, then her dad appears. So.. how comes he wasn;t pulled into the Vortex as well, after all he wasn;t hanging on to anything. Oh, maybe he had magnetic boots? Overall though, an amazing episode? |

Oh i did not notice that at all about the head dalek! I know their sense of humour was amazing wasn't it, i thought that pest control was great and the way they siad the only superior thing about you is that you die more easily...or something like that!

I must say:-brilliant. Bone-numbingly shocking and truly wonderful. I enjoyed it more than any episode of Buffy-and that’s impressive, coming from me.
If asked to recount the best part, I would have been left with no words. The fabulous lagging match between the Daleks and the Cybermen made me continually slap my knee. When Cyber-Yvonne stood in the way of her fellow Cybermen to protect the Doctor. And the moment that Jackie and Pete ran into each other’s arms. But who am I trying to kid? The three wonderful moments-the nail biting part when Rose was very nearly sucked into Hell, the Doctor’s anguished, not to mention heart-breakingly helpless scream of “No,” almost made me cry. The second as Rose was pulled into another world by Pete and the two stand in exactly the same place in completely different worlds. And finally, the wonderful, terrible, tear-jerking goodbye in which the Doctor came so very close to saying those last words, and faded away just at the crucial moment. Glad we saw him cry real tears, instead of the “I’m always alright” crap. And just before the credits rolled and I got ready to run to the bathroom so as not to shed any tears in front of my family, this woman in a wedding dress appears in the middle of the control room, causing a spectacular reaction from Tennant and meaning I had nothing to cry with. Well done to Russel T, he is truly god. Best of luck to Freema Agyeman and roll on runaway bride! |

Well he dropped sarah jane smith off in glasgow, and now Rose is in an alternate universe. So glad he's not a taxi driver.

Did anybody else cry during this or was I the only one?
I did liek the humour at the very end though to lift our spirits =D "WHAT?!, WHAT?!, WHAT?!, WHAT?!" |

It was Aberdeen actually. Only a few hundred miles of difference. Never, ever, has an episode of anything left me with such emotion. I feel like laughing, and crying in hiding, I keep needing to run about the house to get rid of this nervous energy. |

To be honest, the same palce, different worlds thing was a little samey as last year, except she was the one in the TARDIS. And i have to admit, both me and my mum did cry when they said goodbye. I'll admit it, i cry at sad things |
