Li felt bad for Melanie. She had lost a sister when she was younger and knew what it was like to feel broken and alone without your sibling. Li also guessed that it was probably worse when the sibling was your twin. She wanted to comfort Melanie, so she used the little power she had gained back to levitate some hot tea, chocolate, and tissues over to her. Then she smiled comfortingly.

James walked over to Melanie and put a comforting arm around her. "Don't worry about it your a good witch and you have all of us to back you up. And dont forget Philip is strong and will stop at nothing to get back to you."

"James is right.", said Dara. "As long as we stick together, nothing can stop us. We'll defeat Owen and the THS and then, we get Phil back!".

Melanie kindly excepted what Li had given her. A feint smile played across her face in return. She brushed away any tears that were left. "You guys are right, thanks," she mumbled, "I am just being stupid as usual. Of course we will think of something."
Meanwhile, Owen reentered the room where he was holding Philip. He saw Philip bent over the parchment, reading what was written by his name. Owen smiled evilly knowing that what he had written down was utterly false, but Philip was likely to believe him. So far his plan was working perfectly. What Philip was looking at was not the real list of why the Hogwarts students were chosed, but a fake so that Owen could get what he wanted. Everything Owen had said about the list was indeed true. He just did not have a real copy. Once in his life, he had been able to see the real one and that is why he targeted Philip right now. |

"I guess so, Dumbledore wanted to see us. I think I'm fine now. I'll go see him with you if you want to go now." LEon started to rise out of bed but sank back down. His strength was strained and he was so tired. "I guess I'll wait another day. You all should go and try to get back to normal unless yall feel like staying the night in the hospital wing."
Everyone seemed to look at each other, they really didn't have anywhere else to go. So they decided to stay there. These friendships they formed was almost as if it was meant to be as if it was destiny. The night was stil but inside the Hospital Wing they all began to plan they're next move. Was destiny on there side or is destiny on the other side. Only time will tell. |

"Leon take a dreamless potion you are likely to be vulnerable to Owen while you're asleep" said James.
James returned to his seat wide awake and watched as the others fell asleep around him. |

"Guys, it's nearly ten o'clock.", said Dara, looking at his watch. "I'm really tired. I'm going to sleep now. But I'll wait here with Leon and Li just in case something happens. They might need a fellow psychic with them.".
Dara took one of the spare beds in the room and went to sleep... ************************************************************ ((BTW, I'm starting a new chapter of book two. WoodRocks, I think you're right about the chapters. Every book has chapters so why not ours?)) Chapter Two: The Whole Truth Dara woke up the next morning. Leon and him were going to see Dumbledore that day. Dara had no idea why. He looked over at the other two and saw that they were still asleep. He thought it would be safer if he stayed awake in case anything happens. Li opened her eyes blearily and saw Dara sitting up in a nearby bed. She smiled at him. "Hey Dara, did you have a good night?" she asked. Then she turned and saw that Leon was still sleeping peacefully. Li looked to the well inside her mind, hoping that after a good night's rest and all her naps yesterday, that she would be back to full. Thankfully she was. Li didn't know what the future held instore but she wanted to make sure she was ready to face it with all of her power.

Walking through dark passages that Lucy had never seen before, she heard strange mutterings. She came across a door..it was locked. She turned and came face to face with Owen.
She Jolted and nearly fell out of her seat. ((Guys you can all minor control me..just dont kill my character! =) I cant go on much this week..)) |

Before Li could answer Dara's question, Lucy jolted and nearly fell off her seat.

James looked at Lucy concerned.
James was suprisingly awake as he had had no sleep all night watching the others especially 3 of them incase anything happened. |

Leon soon awoke to see Lucy falling off the chair. He realized what she saw, "Lucy be careful Owen can use your mind against you." Leon was happy to see that Li was up and about; he noticed her energy had returned. "Dara are we going to see Dumbledore today. I feel fine now. I'm ready to go when you are."
((There's something that will be revealed between Leon and Li that will be crucial in stopping Owen but I don't want to spoil it so Dara don't control to much of the whole Dumbldore meeting.) |

(Dark-Heart Dementor...The reason I called the chapter "The Whole Truth", is because Leon and Dara are about to get some crucial info off Dumbledore.)
(I like it. I take it the book is keeping the same name though, right?) Melanie had fallen asleep that night dreaming of her brother. It was not long before she was awoken from her slumber by Lucy. "Is everything okay?" she asked, not knowing what was going on. |

"Yea, I'm...alright thanks." Lucy was sorta starled about what she saw.Dara went to try to make sure she was alright. Leon was walking up to Li, he noticed that there was something different about her; something he had never seen before. During the moment an owl came carrying a letter flew by in Madam Pomfrey's office. "Leon and Dara it seems Dumbldore wants you to in his office. I will make sure everything is fine. You may leave." Dara looked at Leon and they said there goodbyes. "Li be careful. Thanks alot for helping me." Leon gave her a hug and walked outside the Hospital wing to go to Dumbldore's office. |

"Don't worry about them," Melanie called as Leon left, "Me and James will be around here. We aren't planning on going anywhere until you get back."

Li smiled after Leon, happy that all of her friends were here with her. She was also happy that she had friends so willing to protect her. Li was slightly nervous though. She sensed that there was something Dumbledore was keeping a secret. She wanted to be at that meeting, but she realized that she was more useful here. She and her friends would be able to keep an eye on each other and to help Madame Pomfrey with the patients who had more problems than a slight magic draining. Li turned to Melanie, James, and Lucy. She smiled at them and said, "Let's see if we can help Madame Pomfrey. It does us no good to just sit and fret." Li looked at Lucy one more time to make sure she was okay before turning and finding Madame Pomfrey to offer her sevices.

Melanie went with Li to go find Madam Pomfrey. She had nothing else to do and helping the other patients might take her mind off of all that was going on.

James stayed close to Lucy as they went to find Madam Pomfrey in case of any more intrusions into her mind.

Lucy walked round the Wing with James and Melanie trying no to focus on what happened this morning.
Suddenly an image flashed across her mind, she saw a burst of green light and a shadowy figure that looked like..No! It couldn't be...but he was here in Castle Igloo! But ..but What if? She shook that unthinkable and terrible thought from her mind as a scream ehcoed around her head. Temporarly blinded Lucy stumbled across the wing, looking for something to hold onto. She grabbed onto a bed rail and managed to steady herself...Owen was trying to get to her through emotianal blackmail. She knew it. Updated Jan 10, 2008 at 3:53 PM by changgirl. |

James quickly grabbed Lucy to stop her from falling over in case she lost grip.
"fight it Lucy you're a stronger person at heart han him" As Lucy relaxed James let his comforting grip go and made sure she could walk. |

"You see there is something that we can use against Owen to stop him, however it requires something of you." Dumbledore said walking towards them, "You were both gifted with the ability of Sight. Something not many are gifted with. But that won't save you Owen knows a power that you both have just barely understood. At this moment it is just telepathy; the ability to communicate thoughts and read a persons mind. You must both find a way to connect yourselves to each other using this power." Dumbldore stared at both of them. "Dumbledore I...noticed when I was near death me and Li sort of communicated Telepathicly and also I seem to also to be able to manipulate people's thoughts and read them." Leon said, staring at him. "Yes, you're powers have grown well Leon you've trained them a lot. I've seen great psychic strength in you. Dara you have learned well with shielding your thoughts and your shifting powers are amazing. Both of you must learn how to shiled your thoughts and shield your emotions. Leon you're probably wondering why I didn't ask Li to come. You may have already realized that answer." Dumbledore waited for Leon to say something. "Because if we show our love for someone he may use the one we love against us or use that emotion to put us in a trap. Dara do you think that's what he's doing with you and Lucy?
