has obtained hi-res images of the photos used by Newsweek for their Prisoner of Azkaban spread in the August 4 issue. These are unblemished pictures, without text or headlines across them.

I think they'll be wearing robes, in classroom scenes anyway. I can understand why everyone is so upset about the absence of robes, but let's just treat the movies and the books as separate, yeah? The books are JKR's vision and pure canon. The movies have to go through somebody else's interpretation, quite a few people's interpretations, in fact. We have the screenwriter, the actor, the director, the cinematographer etc etc. That's quite a few layers to work with.
I think I'll still like this movie, particularly as they are making an effort to show a grittier side of the Harry Potter universe. I wouldn't want to have Disney-fied family fare all the time.

he is in his robes so i guess a couple of the scenes have robes.
But the clothes they are wearing are clothes of today not 1994!!!!!!

And there should be a chance! If they really start on the 4th next February (or was it April) and the making of the film takes a year, then they really could go on with our beloved cast

Those are not rehearsal pictures, they don't actually get dirty in rehearsal. These are the real thing. Besides, the director (wutever his name is, Cuoran?) said he had them wear their own clothe on the set.

I don't think tose pics are of rehersal. I read the article along with the pics it said they were dressing the kids in more hip clothes sometimes their own for the movies. I don't know if it is true but it is what I read. I guess we will all have to wait an see in June 2004.
