Erm...im hoping i interpretted that the wrong way. cause if i interpretted it the right way, not many parents would want their kids reading that if they took it the way i did. I need to think about what else that could of meant..

minister of magicUm...family site. If the younger ones don't get it, I'm not going to explain, although I figure many got it. Sorry if that leaves you out, too.
I did think it was funny, though. And I don't think any of us read it the wrong way. Get Fuzzy is like Sluggy Freelance. It isn't meant for kids.

Uh.. Was that SUPPOSED to be funny?? It wasn't! Like everyone else, I hope the person who wrote it was meaning something else. My parents would NOT approve! Like everyone else said, I thought this was a kid's site!

I am of the opinion that my site visitors should be mature enough to handle anything thrown at them, and it's totally fine if you don't like or agree with something. This should've been more properly labeled as for "adult" audiences, but it's no worse than what we've had here before.
... and I only label this site as being for the "family" because a lot of younger visitors show up - I never intended it to be that way. Harry Potter is for all ages. We've had discussions here before about much more mature themes. I'm surprised a "distasteful" comic strip set off so many of you. I happened to get a chuckle out of it. Don't blame me, blame the artist if you don't approve. ;)
If you don't understand it, it will not be explained to you here. That's where the family-friendly restrictions kick in.

I'll just add to everyone else -- if you don't understand the “dirty” interpretation, there is an “clean” interpretation which in my opinion is actually fairly true about the books -- they don't always turn out quite the way you might have guessed while you were reading.

Ah - it took me and my brother a few moments to get it...and really - it wasn't funny. And I'm not saying that in a hateful way - I'm sure lots of people thought it was funny...but I didn't. It seemed to have nothing to do with Harry Potter - really - it didn't - the punchline wasn't about Harry Potter - it was about...um...sticking ya in the end.
Sorry...I just didn't get a hoot out of that...

Get fuzzy is great but you have to read it everyday to get what it means. I would recomend that every one read the strip.

The Get Fuzzy Comic strip did a lord of the rings one that was real funny, you have to know the characters to not take it the wrong way (just like Aravis said).

Moony, it made me laugh too. I am also easily amused. (I find life is easier that way).
I have to agree with Cheeser guys. I'm shocked that this fairly harmless joke (and its taste is only borderline. They didn't say anything too explicit or blue) put so many of you in a huff. We have argued about religion and politics on this site before. That should have made people far more upset than this strip.
It's just my opinion. People are, of course, welcome to take offence at whatever they would like too. :o)
