Its nice do hear from the actors who have a minor role in the movies. His comments about his life as an actor and common child are both fascinating and heartbreaking.

That is really good for him. Being seriously injured like that and not expected to make it is horrible to experience at such a young age. He should be very proud of himself for getting through that period and moving on to be a good actor.

Wow that's awful. It's kinnda like Orlando Bloom and his accident when he broke his back and was told he'd never walk again. Nine years old and being told that if you somehow managed to live, you'd have brain damage. Wow. It just goes to show that magic really does exist.

Thank God he survived that accident. I'm trying to imagine him as Dudley....could be good! But I prefer him has Crabbe.
The way he's having fun with the other actors on the set, really fun!

I can see him doing well as an actor later in life. He is in an important film, where many directors and producers will see him - but he is probably not as overwhelmed by fans as Tom or Daniel would be. He has the time and space to stay grounded.
He isn't the typical handsome hero type (sorry) which most people would probably want to act. But he wants to be different - there is probably lots of opportunities for a person like him.
Then again what do I know. I have only acted in a play once. I just wish him the best for the future career.

Wow... good for him. He is a good actor and can't wait to see what he brings to the acting community. I'm so glad that he was placed as Crabbe.

It's great to read info about the actors, no matter which one. I love to get to know them better.
I'm really glad everything worked out ok for Jamie. And also for Orlando, I didn't know he broke his back. I loved him in Pirates of the Carrabean.

It is really nice to learn about the actors in the film and how they are in real life. He seems like a really nice person that has overcome adersity.
It would be nice to have a documentary done on the stars of the HP films that tells you what they are like in the real world.

Great interview. He sounds like a good kid. I am a bit surprised he hasn't read any of the books though. I think even if he were not a 'reader' it would be something that his mother would insist on if he is spending his teen years involved in.

I think it's really cool to learn about people who don't have such huge parts in movies but are still very important roles. That's cool he met the President! :)

Neat story! I love to hear from the actors, especially the behind the scenes stuff. All those tidbits, about the cakes, the ad-libbed lines by Tom Felton, the trifle, etc. make it that much more interesting when you see the movie (I'm guessing I've seen COS at least 25 times now- my kids have just about worn out our DVD). Now I want to see it again, just to see if I can spot him gagging on the trifle! Anyway, I hope he does well with his acting career- what a lucky guy to get his first break in a series like the HP movies.

That was a terrific article. It's amazing that he survived his accident, and look at the rewards. It seems like he is living a dream life. And it's good that he is retaining normalcy especially being in such a huge film enterprise.
Good luck on future endeavors, Jamie.

He looks so down to earth and yet you know his part of one of the biggest movies of the year. I mean they never talke "Crabbe and Goyle" but you always know they are there.
I however loved the part were Jamie said that the line Draco uses in CoS "i didn't know you could read" was actually made up by Tom and that Chris liked it so much he kept it in the movie.
I just like to know the Actors have some say in what happens.
And i'm really glad to know they are all very close off screen.

I love it when people prove doctors wrong. And I'm guessing Jamie doesn't have serious brain damage. My Grandad had cancer and doctors reckon he wouldn't live into 2003. My Grandad proved them wrong, he lived for 6 hours in the new year. I'm proud of him and stories like Jamies make me even more proud.
