For those whose school didn't receive a visit from the casting director, here's your chance. The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire filmmakers are holding a casting session on Sunday, December 21 at Pineapple Studios
for those who fit the role of either Parvati or Padma Patil and are in the London area this weekend:
A casting session is being staged at Pineapple Studios, Langley Street, Covent Garden, 10am - 3pm on Sunday.
Asian girls aged 13 to 16 are being invited to go along. Acting experience isn't necessary but the film-makers are being really strict about who they see. They say people who don't match the descriptions will not be allowed in.
Directions can be found at Pineapple Studios'
website. Good luck to those who audition.

They only need one girl. They did say EITHER sister. They can just change ur appearance for the different frames they are going to shoot. It's like the Parents Trap remake with Linday Lohan. She doesn't have a twin. It's all special affects.

Well since I have no chance of ever being considered a part in the Harry Potter mania I want to wish everyone who tries out good luck. Probably I'll just get together a group of firends and we'll make our own movie. That'll be awesome!

Maybe when they are calling for "asian" girls they mean girls with ethnicities ranging anywhere from pakistan to japan?? If a girl was pakistani, and had all the other requirements, go for it. can't hurt trying... but if "asian" is meant in the respect to slim the choices of girls down to japan and china or something, that kinda stinks for the other hopefuls. Myself? Not even close. but it will be fun to see who gets the part, ey? And i hope the twins look alike, because I always imagined them as identical.

drad: I'm sure if all their searching only gives them one girl good enough to cast they'll resort to the Parent Trap-method, but it may be premature to rule out the fact that there is a possiblility they may hire 2 girls who've "got good chemistry" as the CBBC article states.

Hope they will find some pretty Indian twins with long black hair. What an excitement for all the twins in UK. Good luck for those who apply!

That's great, they should start looking for the characters already. I hope who they do find fits the part perfectly.

I think they did a good job choosing Shefali and A.. (alright, I don't know the name of the girl who plays Padma ...) but they should've chosen girls who looked more like TWINS!
