Personally, I think the dementor one looks very good. The detail seems pretty good for this type of toy. I am sure the kids will have a good time with them.

The dolls look so crazy, but I guess they're cool. The dementor ones looked so retarded though. ^-^

I must say that this isn't really my thing.
Ha ha, the Lupin one has a mustache.
I don't believe I'll put any money into those; I'd much rather buy the coloring book, as mentioned in eariler news stories.

Rococoed says:
The dementor toy released by Mattel for Prisoner of Azkaban, in my view, as well as other posters at HPANA from the posts I have read; appears to be an utter insult to their creepiness; Harry look as if he is a drunk hippie in the figure of him; and the Lupin-Werewolf toy is just lame. The upcoming merchadise has completely ruined the more mature essence I had hoped to come along with this film. Maybe if J.K. Rowling would throw in undoubtedly mature themes in books six and seven, the dull-witted merchandise would finally cease....

Theyre sooo goofy looking! haha But cool just the same. I think the Lupin transforming into the werewolf is rather disturbing...But I might pick one of them up! My obsession definitely overtakes the weirdness of it! haha..If that made sense...

Oh my God! Oh my God !I have to have these! I collect figures and anything Harry Potter. These are so cool when do they go on sale?? Does anyone know if you can pre-order them anywhere? Lupin is so cool and the Dementor and Voldemort is absolutely evil looking. Ican't wait to see the movie and the figures up close in my hot little hands.

ChelCho--I agree. Not so much into the toys, but the sticker books and coloring books sound fun.
By the way, thanks for responding to my query (sp?) so fast. I had no idea that was him. He looks so different all scruffy like that. Nice, though.

That's cool but i think the dementor doesn't look 'pretty'-too simple preferences; need to looks fierceness more and more. By the way, the toys have already made. hope we'll enjoy with it.

I wonder if Lupin's really going to look sort of like that as a werewolf. Some of them look at bit strange.

The merchandising begins. But I suppose I won't be able to resist. Wonder which ones will be the "rare" ones that - if you don't find one in the store - sell for outrageous amount on Ebay.
