While in New York City being interviewed by HPANA's own editor Geri, actor Chris Rankin
(Percy Weasley) from the Harry Potter films also visited the Scholastic store there. Kid reporter Lindsay Guastafeste had a go with him:
Chris Rankin is a very kind and funny person. As we were on our way to a tour of the Scholastic store, I offered to let him walk down the stairs in front of me. He insisted that I go first. He is funny because when we were visiting the Scholastic store, he clinked the suit of armor and said, "Oh, it's metal!" I guess he thought it was going to be made of plastic or cardboard.
Very kind and funny indeed.
In addition to HPANA and Scholastic, Chris was also interviewed by Time for Kids and Seventeen magazine while in NYC, so we'll probably be seeing further interviews published as the premiere of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban rapidly approaches.

I think it is totally cool that actors encourage reading because it will open up young reader's minds and they will start picking up books to read... Who knows maybe one of those books might be ine of the Harry Potter series...

I hate percy but I can not hate Chris jajaja he seems to be a really nice guy!!! he always answer the interviews and the people who interviewed him, always talk really nice about him and they all say that he is really funny.

Jeesh, everywhere you read these days about harry potter stars, it seems that chris rankin might just be the one who keeps himself the busiest. it's really cool that he takes time out of his schedule to talk to magaizines, especially ones for kids.

It's nice that Chris is doing all the interviews. He's seems to be such a nice person. Though I can't like his character Percy so much because of the way he acts in the 5th book. I wish other characters would do interviews also, like Dan Radcliffe or Sean Biggerstaff;-)

He really does seem to be into the fans! That's neat, because so many actors just blow them off. It would be really hard to be famous like that, because you would hardly ever be able to leave your house and just go to the store or something.
