I really don't have an opinion on this. We have had the HP movies on TV for sometime now (pay per view, of course) in the States. And I own my own copie of both movies. I wonder what has taken Germany so long to get them on the air. Perhaps it's the subtitles or dubbing.

That is a long time to see the first Harry Potter film on television: More than three years. All of the Harry Potter fans in Germany who would be the most possible viewers of the airing of the film, probably have the movie on DVD or VHS already though. In fact, I've never watched the first two Harry Potter films at all on television yet; mny family doesn't have HBO nor wants to spend money on a Pay-Per-View on our satellite package. We're cheap folk here in Iowa...

I kind of feel sorry for Germans. They are really waiting a long time to even see the first movie on television. I remember the first time SS came on HBO. I was very excited.

Maybe they've already watched it in cinema or CD, so that's not a big deal. By the way, PS isn't airing yet in my country too, but i've watched it more than 5 times.

WOW, germans are lucky!!!!
By me in Italy it seems that Harry Potter does not exist !!!
( On TV I mean )... they just gave the trailers of the PS and of COS when they came out on cinemas, and some times, they advertise the video game, but we do not know anything about seeing those movies on TV !!!
But I do not loose my hopes, and I also wish to watch a cartoon about Harry Potter some time in the future, it would be nice, don't you think ??
