Based on information from multiple sources, we are now able to report that a trailer for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be attached to Scooby-Doo 2 on March 26, and will have a running time of 1 minute 54 seconds.
The trailer is indentified by Warner Bros. as "Harry Potter #3 V2" and The Leaky Cauldron is reporting
that it will be "brand new", citing official sources.
We originally reported that a representative from Loews Cineplex
told HPANA reader Kevin similar information.
There have been false alarms before, but CBBC Newsround reported in February that a trailer recently rated by the British Board of Film Classification was expected "any week" and clocks in at 1 minute 45 seconds.
It's also possible that the trailer will debut online first. We'll keep you posted.
Nikki from Rave Motion Pictures
, a theater chain in Texas, also reports that a new poster will be in theaters soon.

Oh I'd love to see it, but my other fanatic HP fan has some deep down grudge with Scooby Doo. I don't see how I'll be able to drag her into that theater. It'll be like slowly pulling off each of her fingernails with a razor blade.... I guess we can sneak in though.

I can't wait! I hope its a new trailer. I will probably do thing same thing I did in November, because I didn't want to see Looney Toons. I got a ticket to Elf (which was great!) and went to the Looney Toon previews, saw the trailer and went back to the theatre that was showing Elf. Am I genius or what? ;)

Great that there's a new one but why do we have to wait so long? They could always put it on the web site and let the real fans see it now!!!

You're JOKING. They would *have* to show it during one of the few movies that I will NEVER, EVER, *EVER* go see! I *hated* the first movie (possibly because I never even liked the tv show), and I'm completely broke now and will be for quite some time, so there's no way I'm going to spend 7.50 to go see a stupid movie just to see a trailer. Why couldn't they have shown it during Secret Window?? (Great movie, by the way.) Or...*some* good movie anyway. Oh, well. Guess I'll just have to fnd out from all of you whether they use something different or not for the trailer, or if they even show the trailer at all. Everyone said they showed one before "Return of the King", but my theatre didn't even show it, so most likely that'd happen again this time. Hmm...maybe I can try to win tickets to Scooby-Doo. Whatever >.>
Well, I just realized this post is completely worthless. Bah! Oh well, I'll post it anyway. :P

That sounds accurate... its the type of movie it would be attached to, and its about time they started advertising it... I haven't seen the first scooby-doo, but i'll go see the 2nd one just to see the trailer on the big screen! (how sad is that!)

Gagh! No. I refuse to see that movie. Even if there is a Potter trailer. I saw the firt one to get the CoS trailer but HATED the movie. Knowing sequals, this one can't be any better. I'll just have to watch it online. They should show it before Eternal Sunshine. I think I'll be seeing that one. Or Secret Window. I have to see that one again. Why Scooby Doo?

MionePotter87 i totally agree with you! I, personally, DO NOT LIKE THE SCOOBY DOO MOVIES AT ALL! Why must the harry potter people keep insisting on playing the trailers at all the movies i will never go watch? :(

Honestly, why would you waste more than five dollars just to see the new Harry Potter trailer at the next Scooby Doo movie (which will be as idiotic as the first) when you could wait only a few more hours to see it online? I mean, usually trailers for movies are at Quicktime quickly after their release. We might be able to see it before the movie is in theaters as a matter of fact, like we did with the first one. Anyone interested in typing a well-thought URL for the possible location of the trailer at the official Harry Potter website by Warner Bros? I hope this trailer consists of only new footage, and the music is spooky opera. This must be the new trailer HPANA posted about a few weeks ago that has a PG rating.
