USA Today has some new pictures and a very interesting article about the subtle differences between the upcoming Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and the previous Potter movies, as well as some tidbits of what we can expect in the film - such as Hermione wearing jeans and holding hands with Ron.
In the article Alfonso Cuarón discusses the difference from his last movie Y Tu Mamá and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban:
"Obviously the tone of the movies is completely different," says Cuarón. "Y Tu Mamá was very realistic, with social observation. Here it's a magic world, a fantasy, a bigger canvas. But emotionally it's exactly the same thing. It's a journey of a character's seeking his identity and accepting who he is. To step out of the shadow of his father, for instance, is one of the themes."
Emma says that she enjoyed slugging Malfoy and that she finally got Hermione into jeans:
"It was great fun," Watson says. "We did a couple of takes, and I was saying 'Come on, come on, let's do it again.'"
"It took me three films to get Hermione in jeans. To get out of the robes with the tights and the itchy jumpers. Whoo-hoo!"
David Heyman had this to say about the movie:
"This is a real girl-power film. Hermione helps and leads Harry on many occasions."

Oh, those pictures were amazing!! I'm a little concerned about that shurnken head deal in the Knight Bus, but I bet it will be comedic and work out. With every new picture, it is looking like this is just going to be a beautiful movie!!
And I saw the little trailer where Hermione grabs Ron's arm, but I'm not sure if that is what she is talking about!

Alfonso Cuaron is just the best director, Every time I read one of this articles I just get more anxious about the movie I think all his ideas are really good! the eagles eating the serpent, that's so mexican and so many little things like that. I'm sure this is going to be the best!

In PoA, harry starts fancy cho, not hermione. The only thing which indicate harry likes hermione is when he saw her in Yule Ball, and that's a year after PoA. Not to mention cuaron's great work, I just hope they dont cross the line too much

Well, I am excited about seeing what the trio looks like and are up to... I am also not excited about all the changes that are planned for this movie, compared to the book. I know, movies and books are different and that is usually not a problem for me, except in this one where it is my favorite book and the movie appears to be not very much like it at all...
But the pictures look good!!

It would be really nice to clear things up. Ron and Hermione DID NOT HOLD HANDS. There was just this scene that out of instinct Hermione held down her hand from Ron's arm down and of course, it was an awkward moment, that, she immediately took her hand away from Ron's. That's it. They DID NOT, however, -hold hands- for a long period of time like lovers usually do. I hope everyone gets to see the trailer so that they'll know what I'm talking about. It's just crzy. Of course, Cuaron had started with all the love thing already, and for now, it's simply some teen angst going on, but as far as the book had gone, there wouldn't be much going on between Ron and Hermione except for their quarrels here and there, but of course they patch up at once. Indeed, Cuaron had made a few of his own touches to the movie, but we've got to trust him now, do we? JK Rowling had been consulted about this and I'm certain that if Cuaron's ideas goes a bit way too far, she would tell him at once. After seeing all the trailers, I really think Cuaron did outdo himself. We'll have to see on the June what he's got under his sleeves all these while. It'd better be good since Mike Newell will handle the next and it'll be hard to start with someone else's work and simply continue it. Newell better get the hang of Cuaron's flow of thoughts, really. And if I may say so, filming should be done at once, they've just started lately, and with the actors growing up faster than we've expected, we might really find Tom Felton's statement true... That Dan Radcliffe would look too old for the seventh movie and most probably look like he's 25years old! I'm only 17, turning 18, but I've never seen such growth spurts just as these actors do. Aside from the fact that I'm just a year older than Tom, it is understandable that he looks older than I am...but Dan and Emma looking older than I am??? Jeez, teenagers these days. . . And I'm supposed to be looking older than my actual age is!
Okay, too much ranting there. I love posting here though i haven't done as much. I need to help my other Slytherin mates around. Haha.

yeah. everyone is making this out to be such a big thing, but it's not. but i do believe this is hinting at a Ron-Hermione romance no matter how much the harry-hermione shippers want to deny it.
