British newspapers the Sunday Mirror and The Express are reporting that the roles of Cho Chang and Madam Maxime have been cast for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The Sunday Mirror is reporting
that the part of Cho Chang will be played by Katie Leung, 16, who is from Scotland and who beat out more than 4,000 girls for the part and according to a movie insider:
"Harry develops a crush on Cho in the Goblet of Fire. It is fair to say that she becomes his first- ever girlfriend, so it's an important part.
"The film producers and author J. K. Rowling were keen to get a complete unknown for the part of Cho Chang and Katie's absolutely perfect. She's pretty, bright and one can see why Harry would have a crush on her. She has a glittering career ahead of her."

Also, according to last week's British newspaper, The Express, the role of Madam Maxime is to be played by Audrey Tautou who is close to final negotiations with Warner Bros.
According to The Leaky Cauldron:
" Harry Potter giant Hagrid has found his mate - in Amelie actress Audrey Tautou. The French beauty is in final negotiations to star in Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire as school mistress Madame Maxine, an 8 ft giantess who steals the heart of Hagrid, played by Robbie Coltrane. My source says: "Madame Maxine is this huge ugly giant whom everyone else finds terrifying. But the gag is that when Hagrid looks at her, all he sees is the beautiful Audrey Tatou."
These rumors have still to be confirmed by Warner Bros. and we will update as soon as we can.

I am also looking forward to Steve making more out of this relationship with Harry. And yes - we all know that Cho turns out to be Cedric's girlfriend! But Harry has got to have something good happen to him...
As far as Audrey Tautou playing Madame Maxine - she is so small and Madame Maxine is so tall. I wonder how it will work - seriously! The camera can only do so much ---

But Katie is pretty-at least she looks pretty from the article. Hopefully they'll cast soon, so they can shoot soon, so they can get the movie out soon!

Audrey as Madam Maxine? She's soooo tiny! How the heck are they going to work that out? Even with movie magic, it'll still be a little awkward for someone with such small features.

... I was already JEALOUS of Cho from the books.... NOW I'LL KNOW WHAT I'M CRYING FOR!!!!!..... (Yes, I really am AS SILLY AS THAT!)... It's gonna be hell to see him kissing her, a real torture!!!! -I LOVE HARRY POTTER...and Daniel is so good in the part, that when I watch the movies I TOTALLY IDENTIFY HIM WITH HARRY!
But at least I know he broke-up with Cho and I don't think he will ever want her back! -at the end of book V the author seemed really decided to COMPLETELY DETACH HIM OF HER! ...So, I guess this pain will only last for a while.... but the question is: who's gonna take Cho's place in the end????
Now, about Madame Maxine.... when I heard this rumor about Audrey Tatou impersonating her, my brain just froze ("petrificus totalus!"-BLANK!!!) !!!!! No, I don't think it's a question of height (I mean come on, don't you think WB can make her look taller?!) or BEAUTY (Madame Maxine is GIANT, NOT UGLY!!!!-on the contrary, the character has a beautiful face, despite the huge stature!), but Audrey Tatou looks so FRAGILE..., frail, delicate, suave.... She's got the figure of a CHILD-woman...!
BUT...WELL, THEY SAY GREAT ACTORS CAN REALLY WORK OUT MIRACLES.......
