According to Novinite.com
Warner Bros. has announced that the role of Victor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be played by Bulgarian teen Stanislav Yanevski. Stanislav lives in London and turned out to be the favorite choice of Mike Newell.
If true, this debunks rumors spreading around the web last week that a boy from Scotland had won the role. As of now no official word has come from Warner Bros. and when it does we will update accordingly.

hmm.. even the Bulgarian casting office was quoting as saying it's normal for a Scottish person to be casted despite the Bulgarian auditions and that's how Blockbusters go. Which one is correct?

We must wait until an offical ruiling. You know how some things are not true. I would have to say, though, that a bulgarian being cast would be a good idea. It is much more in the spirit of things and the correct nationality.

See, I had read that they had casted a Scottish boy too. So, I was surprised just now to hear that they have now casted a Bulgarian boy. Well, they are rumours so the best thing to do is to wait and see. It would have been nice to see a photo of him though. I saw a photo of the girl who is suppose to play Cho Chang and she looks really pretty and she is suppose to be from Glasgow where I am going to school right now, so yeah!
