An acting agency has confirmed to CBBC Newsround
that the part of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be played by Londoner Robert Pattinson, who will be appearing in the upcoming Vanity Fair film, playing Rawdy Crawley and a German film called Kingdom In Twilight according to Newsround.

Apparently, in Vanity Fair...Robert Pattinson plays the son (Rawdy) of Reese Witherspoon's Rebecca Sharp and James Purefoy's Rawdon Crawley.
My bad... But I wonder how they are going to play that in the film -- Robert doesn't look THAT young...and Reese still looks like she's in her late 20's.
Oh well.

He seems to be very good-looking and should fit the character of Cedric Diggory very well. He's a little taller (6'1") than I had pictured Cedric, since Seekers are suppose to be lightweight and small for speed.

I thought Cedric was in POA. He wasn’t the boy in yellow robes trying to catch the snitch besides Harry? For all I know he was supposed to be that guy. Anyway he looks kind of ugly, not like I imagine him to be (maybe is just the pic). Hope he does well in GOF!
