An acting agency has confirmed to CBBC Newsround
that the part of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be played by Londoner Robert Pattinson, who will be appearing in the upcoming Vanity Fair film, playing Rawdy Crawley and a German film called Kingdom In Twilight according to Newsround.

See, I have been sitting here stumped myself because I am reading the book again after reading once already and seeing the movie 3 times already and yes that was suppose to be Cedric that was suppose to have won that match in POA. So, I figured that they would have used that guy again but then again in the movie he get shocked and was to fall. So, it just goes to show you the difference between the movie and the book!

I agree that he looks WAY too old. WAY. I tried to find info about his actual age, but no luck. It's one thing to be older and play young if you can get away with it (like Dan, Emma, and Rupert will be able to do throughout the series!) but he looks too old already, in this picture anyway. I must say I feel bad commenting at all, considering what David Thewlis said about finding out everyone hated him on the message boards when he signed on as Lupin! Well, good luck, Robert Pattinson!

If this isn't one more reason for WB to keep the original three, I don't know what is! I do not ever want to hear a single word about the trio looking too old. Yes, girliegirl - this guy looks old. Older than I would have pictured Cedric. I always saw Cedric as a young handsome nobleman with great stature and a presence about him. Further photos best be forthcoming, because I am not at all impressed by what I am seeing here...
and Stocco - PoA was and is continuing to be a disaster.

All right! Though he looks more like Krum to me, with those dark eyebrows, but maybe that's just the lighting in the picture. They've been doing really well with the casting, so he should be fine. I can't wait to see him on screen.
