Let the rumors continue. In yet another article that will surely have fans talking, the Daily Mail from the UK is reporting
that Ralph Fiennes
is in talks to play Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which is currently filming.
This of course follows previous reports that Rowan Atkinson and John Malkovich had also been in negotiations for the role, both of which have been denied by the powers that be.
Please note that this is a rumor and I'm sure won't be the last, and as with all rumors has to be confirmed by Warner Bros. We will update if we hear anything.

Well not to be rude to Ralph Fiennes....but I REALLY hope he doesn*t get the part of Voldemort. I mean he just doesn*t look EVIL enough. The person they need to get, is someone who actually looks like they COULD be evil. Ralph just looks like he could of played the part of Lockhart...I just hope they find someone who really fits the part. And if this really is the guy..I hope he does a good job...

Hmm... I'm not sure about this, but I guess we'll see as time passes. But I hope they wisely pick someone to play Voldemort. I mean come on, he is an essential character and he must be portrayed this way.

Ralph Fiennes is one of my favorite actors. Although I didn't picture someone like him playing Voldemort I always picture someone a bit more rough around the edges; but it should make it intesting.

I think he could be a good Voldemort. I don't get why people say "he's not how I imagined Voldemort". Who is? Voldemort has 2 slits for a nose and red eyes. You probably won't see any of the actor's actual face when they put all the makeup and effects on him.

That would be kind of cool if he was Voldemort. It would be such a change from his usual roles. More power to him!

Voldemort's Heir: No actor will have red eyes and slits for a nose, this is true. But, what you are implying is that it does not matter what an actor looks like, because they will be under pounds of makeup anyways, and all they need is a British accent. This is what I disagree with. One could argue that Fleur could be anyone who is French- heck, even a man could play her (although this would be utterly disgusting and would not happen). However, a man would not ever have the apperance of one of the most beautiful girls in the world, even caked with makeup. So, it is ligitimate to somewhat base the supposed Voldemort actor on his looks alone.
Now, personally, he looks too dang good to play Voldie, but hey, I'm a teenage girl with raging hormones... what can I say??

I am just hoping, that they are having as much luck in choosing the right actors, as they have shown during the other Potter movies. I can not imagine seeing Ralph Fiennes but I would love to see john malkovich as a bad Voldemort. he seems to be right for that caracter, he can act in a really evil way. Lets just hope for the best!

I guess he could play Voldemort. It is just a rumour though. I wish we could get some confirmed news on whether he's playing Voldemort or not. And if he's not then who is?

I can imaging thais guy being Voldemort. I mean, after watching Red Dragon, it's very easy to see this guy playing another psycho as Voldemort.

Ok, I have such torn feelings about this guy. He was so freaking scary in Red Dragon, but yet such a good guy in that movie with Jennifer Lopez. I think he would play a really fantasic Voldemort though, let's just get some real info WB now!
