Let the rumors continue. In yet another article that will surely have fans talking, the Daily Mail from the UK is reporting
that Ralph Fiennes
is in talks to play Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which is currently filming.
This of course follows previous reports that Rowan Atkinson and John Malkovich had also been in negotiations for the role, both of which have been denied by the powers that be.
Please note that this is a rumor and I'm sure won't be the last, and as with all rumors has to be confirmed by Warner Bros. We will update if we hear anything.

they turned down Malkovich???? What in the world were they thinking? Malkovich has the acting ability, and the look to turn the Fil version of Voldemort into our generations Count Dracula, Silence of the Lambs, and Jeremy Piven the Dean from Old School.

Wow, Ralph Fiennes looks perfect as the part of Voldermort!!! I like the red hair, it just looks good for the part, although I've never really put into mind what color his hair would be... Dunno, I just think it looks good.
I saw him in the movie "Maid in Manhatten"-is that how you spell Manhatten?-and he was pretty good. I've heard of Red Dragon, but I've never seen him. It's said that he was freaky in that movie. By the way, what part did he play?Just wanted to know...

Sorry, when I said "I've heard of Red Dragon, but I've never seen him." in my last comment, the "him" was supposed to be "it". So sorry to anyone I confused!

Fiennes played the bad guy in Red Dragon. A psycho killer who was mentally abused as a child by his mother and teased by other people because of a facial deformity (hair lip and cleft palate I think) who is trying to become the Red Dragon through his murders until he falls in love and needs to stop, then he becomes very torn. I think Fiennes would be fantastic, although I'm not sure we could see him. If the filmmakers use the literal depiction of him, he would either have to be hidden under make-up, or else I can see him voicing a CG Volde. Unless they decide to make him more human looking.

First comment? Cool!
Voldemort in the body of Ralph Fiennes is, to me ay least, hard to imagine. I mean, the guy was in a movie with Jenniffer S**** Lopez!! But we have seen actors rise to the occasion before, lets just hope this actor will. Voldemort is one of the most important characters, it is so important that he is presented in a believable way.

Oh thank goodness, they didn't cast Rowan Atkinson. I don't know how I would've convinced myself to go watch Mr Bean play the dreaded Lord Voldemort! :D :P
