Let the rumors continue. In yet another article that will surely have fans talking, the Daily Mail from the UK is reporting
that Ralph Fiennes is in talks to play Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which is currently filming.
This of course follows previous reports that Rowan Atkinson and John Malkovich had also been in negotiations for the role, both of which have been denied by the powers that be.
Please note that this is a rumor and I'm sure won't be the last, and as with all rumors has to be confirmed by Warner Bros. We will update if we hear anything.

Voldemort in the body of Ralph Fiennes is, to me ay least, hard to imagine. I mean, the guy was in a movie with Jenniffer S**** Lopez!! But we have seen actors rise to the occasion before, lets just hope this actor will. Voldemort is one of the most important characters, it is so important that he is presented in a believable way.

I do enjoy Raplh Fiennes so very much though ;) Let us not forget that he was in Red Dragon and was incredible in it! He may not make a bad Voldemort. Just my opinion ;) I love that movie.
Anywho, it's all still just a rumour. Hopefully we'll find out for sure in the very near future.

Depending on your age, you might want to check out a movie he did called Red Dragon. It was a thriller film in which he played a murderous psychopath along the lines of Hannibal Lecter (the film was actually it was a prequel to Silence of the Lambs). Granted, the character he portrayed was a different sort of evil than Voldemort -- but he was chillingly played by Fiennes. This guy would make deliciously evil Voldemort.

It is almost as hard to predict Voldemort as it is for the MOM in the books to admit that he was back in book 5. This is an important role that really gains momentum in books 4 and 5. I hope they pick a good actor.

Zarry Sotter: Perhaps he could still do it. Voldemort only becomes an actual body in the graveyard scene. The rest would be voice-over acting for any scenes with the mutant baby Voldie. It might be the whole Gary Oldman thing where the actor chosen would only be on screen around 15 minutes total. 'Course I have no idea how many filming days it takes to achieve 15 minutes usable film. ;)

I think that he could make a good Voldemort. He has definitely played some sinister roles in the past and he could settle into this one. I am sure some make-up, different hair, and different clothes would make him look mw like the part.

I would have loved to see John Malkovich as Voldemort. Still, Ralph Fiennes is a GREAT actor, despite being in a movie with J. Lo (which was kinda cute). I think he'd be awesome as Voldemort. Besides, some of Voldemort will be CGI anyways.
