Just a few days after the announcement that book 6 of JK Rowling's blockbuster series would be Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, two online booksellers have created the ability to sign up to be the first to know when the book is ready for release:

I'm signed up! For OoTP I even paid a deposit at two different stores so I could be sure I could get it wherever I was when it was released! I don't think it will actually be released until Summer 2005 though.

You know, the last time there was sign up's for book 5 the release date came out like a couple of months later...thats not to go and get your hopes up or anything...but still, any way Im gonna go sign up...though it is widely known in my house hold about what a fan of the book i am, somebody might call me up to tell me it was on the morning news =P...but i'm not taking chances!
