Mr. Jonathan Tebbs, owner of A Barn Full of Brass Beds
in the UK has been left spellbound after his firm was chosen to restore
nine beds at his workshops for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The brass beds will be prepared by Grimsby firm Fenners, Wickham Road, Grimsby Docks, before being brought back to their former glory by Mr. Tebbs.
Set dressers for Warner Bros have paid precise attention to detail and want brass beds for the scenes.
The Hogwarts gang visit Ron Weasley's parents and are camping in a tent. Although from the outside it is a small tent, once inside it opens up into a large dormitory with bunk beds and a double bed for the Weasley's.
Mr. Tebbs says this of the professionalism of Warner Bros.:
"The set dressers are interesting people, very down to earth, they think if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well. Maybe they hope the attention to detail will rub off on the actors and if they are around interesting stuff it will help them perform better."
Now we can rest that there will be a scene from the Quidditch World Cup in Goblet of Fire.

I am really looking forward to more Quidditch scenes in GoF!! I was a little disapointed in PoA, as I just LOVE the idea of Quidditch!

Good. I was so afraid that they were going to cut that part of the book out! But then again, it will be a new director who is hopefully better (and more accurate) Down with Alfonso!! Since when are Harry, Ron and Hermione all touchy-feely with each other? (shoots sparks from eyes)

I'm glad that the Quidditch World Cup will be in the movie because it is a great part of the book because of the discriptions, the dark mark, and is a part of the main storyline anyway.

I wonder what it all will look like. It's a different looking scene depending on the person's perspective. I just hope they leave all the crucial stuff from the books in the movie.

I'm really glad they're allowing the Cup to be in it. It was rather important, but with most books turned movies, the important stuff can be omitted for time issues.

I wasn't even imagining of there being no Quidditch World cup in GoF!!!!! It would take out a big part of the story, especially the Dark Mark and Krum. I think the description of the tent sounds quite good. I think that GoF could be the best of all the movies so far if not too much of it is cut out.

I think the World Cup is a pivotal part of GoF and I'm glad to see that it will be part of the movie. With the changes they made to Quidditch in PoA, I'll be interested to see how they make Quidditch look in GoF. Lots of foreshadowing in the book while Harry is at the World Cup. We see the Dark Mark, the Death Eaters, Victor Krum..it should be very exciting!

That's so comforting to know they aren't cutting that out. I know they're going to have to cut out a lot because it's such a long book, but it's good to know they aren't going to cut this out. I just wonder what aspects of it they're actually going to keep, there's some important stuff during that time in the book.

It is very important to have The World Cup in the movie... thats where you learn most of the important fact about the movie....needless to say, about the Death Eaters and the Dark Mark.

Quidditch, even a world cup match, is boring, how many times do we have to see it? What a waste of time in a movie that will be too short to begin with. They could have read about the death eaters and the dark mark in the Daily Prophet, to get it into the movie, and Ron knows all about Krum and could have explained who he was. Ron could also get information from his dad about other things that need to be included.

That's awesome. As a bit of an actress myself, I do have to say that having the right props and costumes really helps you to stay in character. It makes everything feel right. Attention to detail is so very important. It can make or break a show. Of course, the acting is the most important part...

Lupakitty says:
Quidditch is very nessecary if you think about it, in all Harry Potter movies. Since the actual Hogwarts teams won't be playing during the school year, it is up to the World Cup to satify the need for Quidditch. I can't wait to see this directors vision of the great World Cup and I hope to be awed by the scene.
