CBBC Newround
has three new photographs of actor Robert Pattinson who will be playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The photos are from the film In Kingdom in Twilight which he completed earlier this year but as yet has no relese date.

I love it! He looks the part to me. I do agree that he is a bit older looking thanI thought Cedric should be, but as with the actress for Fleur - makeup can work wonders!

he does look old here, but a little make-up magic and hair stylists can do the magic they'll need to make him diggory!

I don't know about him...I hope they make his hair darker, I think he would look better with darker (and shorter) hair. He does look really old, but like I said before, it's hard to judge a picture taken from a different movie set!

I have to agree with a lot of you. I expected a much better looking actor for the role of Cedric. But then again, Harry was never really described as good looking and DAN is hot! So there you go. I guess it doesn't really matter all that much. Plus, maybe if Robert shaves his beard, maybe he'll look better. Plus a better hair cut.
Oh well. We'll see.

That is not how I pictured Cedric at all. I'm sorry, I never can or will picture him like that. I've never seen him in any movies, so I cant critisize him, but hes not how i pictured Cedric.

Well in my humble opinion he's going to make a GREAT cedric. He looks like a Hufflepuff (I know that sounds silly and like I'm stereotyping, but I am-- all slytherins look power hungry, slimy, or stupid!) Anyways, I think, like so many others, that with a hair cut (not too much, just to make it more present date) and no beard/scraggelies, we'll be good to go!

err... if he rids himself of the beard, I might be more convinced that he will make a better Cedric. However, he does look like he has a good smile, and I'm sure he will clean up nice... just picture him in the school robes with a lil bit better of a hairstyle... he could very easily pull it off :o)
