CBBC Newround
has three new photographs of actor Robert Pattinson who will be playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The photos are from the film In Kingdom in Twilight which he completed earlier this year but as yet has no relese date.

I think they need to clean him up just a bit, lose the shaggy hair-do and peach fuzz, maybe dye his hair black...i always pictured Cedric as a black haired kinda guy. He's got the hansome factor down to a T so i think with a few touch-ups he will ROCK!

I liked the first black and white pic that surfaced of him. He need to be cleaned up a bit. I hope he's not sporting that pitiful beard/facial hair. That is dreadful. It seems that pic is from a film, doesn't it? I hope I'm right about that one!

I'll second that, stocco - from that first publicity picture it looked like he might fit, but these have me wondering now. He doesn't look anything like what I'd picture but I'm sure that's at least partly influenced by how he's made up to look here. Hopefully once he's aged down a bit.. and shaves *laugh* he'll look more the part of Cedric.
Of course, that's all just down to appearance. We really don't know anything about his acting skills yet though. I might have to see Kingdom in Twilight when it's released just to check him out.

Hmm...last night when I was on another website I saw a different photo and I'm not sure if it was the same guy but the other photo I saw he(if it was the same person) looked alot different, they had short black hair and really looked nice, so it may just be the role in those photos that make him look unflattering. And, in those photos he does look older then his character is in the story. Only time will tell and the *MAGIC* of makeup. I wish him luck because The Goblet of Fire is my favorite book!
