Tom Felton
(Draco) from the Harry Potter movies had his first fan club meeting at London's Chelsea Football Club yesterday and CBBC Newsround has a report as well as some pictures from the event.
Tom had invited a selection of fans by letter/phone and his website to come and meet him in person and had this to say about the turnout:
"I am really happy with the turnout. You can tell how much some people really want to be here, because they can't speak!"
Also dawniky's has a LiveJournal report & pictures posted about her experience. Thanks to Mugglenet for the tip.
Update: Tom has updated his website with pictures and an entry about the day's events.

What a great idea! I wish all actors would do something like this. Not only does it give the loyal fans a way to see and talk to their favorite actor, it is a wonderful way for actors to reach back to their fans, who help determine their success. It would also give actors some more respect, showing they do care about their fans, and allows the fans to realize that actors are only human after all. An idea like this benefits all - good for you, Tom.

I think it's great to see the actors being faithful to their fans. There are so many people who would kill to see these actors in person, and it's god that they can take some time out and be there for the fans.

Well I particularly don’t like him, I think he is a show off, making comments to bring gossip about himself, I prefer Dan, Emma and Rupert 1000 times.

I check out Tom Felton's Website and he seems to really care about his fans, which is really unusual for celebrities. I wish I could have been there, but good on those who were able to go. I mean imagine getting a phone call from him inviting you personally to come and see you! The photos from it look really good! Tom Felton really seems like a really great guy and I hope he continues to be that way!

Always believed Tom Felton is a VERY nice guy in fact :) I don't know why... He is OK as Malfoy, but when I see him I always think that it would be could just to chat with him, to make friends. Now I see it's POSSIBLE to have a meeting with him, and it's not surprisingly ;)
