Many new Web sites have sprung up dedicated to Katie Leung since it was announced that she had been cast as Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but Warner Bros. is now insisting
that the Katie Leung blogs that have recently appeared on the internet were not written by her.
Fake blog entries supposedly written
by Katie have surfaced which means that fans can be easily duped into believing that they are communicating with the star. A few months ago a fan thought they were communicating with Daniel & agreed to meet him in England after traveling from Chile, of course this was an imposter, as Daniel never communicates
with his fans this way. So please be careful, if you think you talking to someone from the movies - you're not & please don't give out personal information to anyone you don't know.

Famous people rarely blog. They just don't have the time! Anyway, it's particularly suspect when a lot of blogs pop up at the same time.

Well, I figured this would happen sooner or later... I wasn't expecting it to happen this soon though. It's really a shame that some people have to resort to this.

It's rather silly to believe you can just talk to Daniel or Katie or anyone with that much fame. I think the saying "Think before you act" fits in here very well.

Very sad that some people will try to take advantage of fans who only want to become more interested and involved. My hope is that people will be careful and still have a great time with Harry Potter.

That's a lesson to all the fanatics (fans that don't pay attention to reason and common sense). Please do not trust just anyone. You can lose almost anything... Besides, movie people just don't agree to meet with fans that easy. They also have to protect themselves, don't they? :) Take care all of you! God bless!

Well, it's terrible that people will stoop to something like that, but come on... Stars will never communicate that way because they are much too busy. I feel bad for the people that were duped, but you have to use some common sense. In this age, with all of the publicity that things like this gather, people shouldn't be that gullible anymore. There will always be jerk people that will try to take advantage of the innocents, though.

I think it's awful to see people impersonating others. She just started filming, and people are already taking advantage of it. Anyhoo, Brittany Radcliffe, relax, she is playing Harry's love interest, not Dan's. You don't have to go looking up her sites if you don't want to. I admit that I am jealous of her role, I bet she'll do great.
