Many new Web sites have sprung up dedicated to Katie Leung since it was announced that she had been cast as Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but Warner Bros. is now insisting
that the Katie Leung blogs that have recently appeared on the internet were not written by her.
Fake blog entries supposedly written by Katie have surfaced which means that fans can be easily duped into believing that they are communicating with the star. A few months ago a fan thought they were communicating with Daniel & agreed to meet him in England after traveling from Chile, of course this was an imposter, as Daniel never communicates with his fans this way. So please be careful, if you think you talking to someone from the movies - you're not & please don't give out personal information to anyone you don't know.

The Dan imposter must've been either really believable or she must've been so excited about actually talking to Dan, that she forgot it might've been a hoax some ignorant person wanted to play on her. Oh well, at least this mess is finally cleaned up, so nobody else will get hurt by some imposter.

Well this just shows the extent of HP mania. Katie's not even a big star - most people (non-hp fans) don't even know who she is. Yet there are a barrage of blogs and journals claiming to be by her. Hopefully most people are intelligent enough to spot a real from a fake one, but there are always those who get innocently caught up in the scams.
I think if Katie were to have her own blog - it would be more professional and she would get her own domain and have help with design, like some of the other actors in HP.
