Many new Web sites have sprung up dedicated to Katie Leung since it was announced that she had been cast as Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but Warner Bros. is now insisting
that the Katie Leung blogs that have recently appeared on the internet were not written by her.
Fake blog entries supposedly written
by Katie have surfaced which means that fans can be easily duped into believing that they are communicating with the star. A few months ago a fan thought they were communicating with Daniel & agreed to meet him in England after traveling from Chile, of course this was an imposter, as Daniel never communicates
with his fans this way. So please be careful, if you think you talking to someone from the movies - you're not & please don't give out personal information to anyone you don't know.

That's so disappointing. If people do stuff like that, why would stars even want to communicate w/fans? It's so stupid.

It's so sad that some people will do that. I just can't think what might happen to some fans when they are tricked. It just makes you want to go to church.

HAHA. Can you blame people for wanting to be Katie? I mean, COME ON, she gets to be the girl who Dan gets to pretend to love. I WANT THAT JOB!

The Chile thing was just really weird. I mean even the MOTHER was convinced that it was Dan because I mean how else was the girl supposed to get to England?
I'm thinking of some things that could explain everything but I better not say.
Anyway, the only reason why anyone would be interested in that Katie girl is because she gets to hang out with the guys. Otherwise, no one would look twice at her.

I'm not that stupid to meet anyone in personal that I talked to on the internet because my parents don't know them.(b)Golden rule in my family is not to go meeting anyone that they didn't meet or talked to.

Some people are just disgusting they way they lead fans about on a rope like that. I mean sure, we're obsessed. We're fans. Its what we do. No need to get mean and take advantage of our obsessions like that!

How can you actually believe something like this?? People who have nothing better to do than mess with your heads would do this, and the stars are always busy.

Just goes to show you don't believe anything until, Ms Rowling, her publishers or Warner Brothers endorse it.

I can't believe how extremely gulible people can be. I mean come on that is really pathetic. Well anyways all those HP celeberties wouldn't have any time to chat online with one random fan, also I highly doubt that they would tell them to meet them in England. Haha, I wish it would actually happen to me because I would love to meet Dan:), but yeah I heard about those blogs to awhile ago, but any ways! Oh well, people just ignore them even if you get overly excited, you should know its not the real thing!!! GEEZ!

These fake blog sites must belong to people who have psychological problems. They just can't be themselves. They have to pretend to be someone else to get a brief rush of ego fulfillment. Too bad they can hurt some other people's trust.
