I remember reading (or seeing in an interview) that Alphonso Cuaron was careful to cut things out of the script before filming, so there won't be many deleted scenes on the DVD, if I had to guess (not that I'm happy about it!)
However, I also remember an interview with Rupert saying there were a lot of Hermione/Ron scenes (hugging!) that didn't make the final cut! That would be fun to see in the extras!

I love the extras on all of the DVDs, it looks like I won't be disapoined this time either. That would be cool to look around Lupin's classroom, the DADA classroom always has cool stuff lying around.

I do enjoy the cast interviews and the interview with JKR, but all that other stuff is so dumb, no offense. I just never have that much energy to play little games with my DVDs...

The release is just in time for my birthday, so I will have to get myself a present if my husband doesn't step up to the plate himself! It does sound like another great DVD to add to the HP collection.

Oo yay! I can't wait! That's a lot of money, but...I have half of it saved already and if I keep it hidden somewhere so I forget about it, I won't spend it...and maybe by then I'll have saved enough to buy it.
*Makes mental note to stop going to eBay and spending her money so much* x_x

Cool beans. Can't be worse then the first. It was so annoying going through those stupid tasks to get like, three deleted scenes. The second was better, so hopefully this one will be even better.

Cool.Is the widescreen an added feature that you can turn on and off or is it a version?I'm not sure what they're saying. But it sounds great I wish they would make versions with all the deleted scenes added in that'd be great.

I am considering purchasing the DVD to see the scenes which were cut. Depending on what the scenes contain - they may or may not restore my goodwill toward Cuaron. And the interviews are always fun. I am hoping that with a ore grown up film will also come more grown up DVD features.

Oh yay! *squeals* I can't wait to get my hands on that. I was hoping that the DVD would include a JK Rowling interview. Maybe we'll get some more details. It didn't say anything about commentary, though. I'll take what I can get. Hooray...can't wait for November.

I wouldn't mind paying a higher price, as long as there are lots of extras. (Who are we kidding, we'll buy it no matter what the price, got to have a complete set, after all!) The official WB site had a tour of Lupin's classroom and Honeydukes, the ones on the DVD better not be the same! Lupin's classroom was creepy; The hippogriff game on the site kept us happy for awhile too, just killing time until the movie came out. Now we just have to pass the time until the DVD...and PoA has gone from the theater where my kid works, so we can't see it for free anymore. It's hard not to like a free movie, but I thought it was really good in many respects, but like many people I could have lived without the toad choir, shrunken head, and the other stuff not in the book. Looking forward to the DVD, though.

I hope that they put all of the deleted scenes into the movie. They did it with LOTR and it would be soooo good if they did it here too.
