O-M-G am I 5398893th to post??! this is so exciting!

but seriously

this is freaking awesome. ralph fiennes is super creepy and i'm glad they picked a young guy to play voldemort. it only makes sense -- if you were returning to human form, would you pick some old scraggly weak guy? no! you'd pick a form that's youthful and presents a powerful image.

also miranda richardson is awesome. she is sexy and smart and has a lot of attitude and that's what rita skeeter should be.

way to go, casting directors!

NO!!!! THey cant have Ralph do volemort! Hes hott! Voldemort is supposta be old and ugly, not middle aged and hot. there is something wrong with the p.p.l in casting this time around.

Oh my goodness. I just read that article and spent five minutes screaming praises around my room. I've had a disgusting sexual obsession with Ralph Fiennes for a long time, and this is TERRIFIC! But, like other people are saying, how are they gonna make him look old n' gross and Voldemorty enough? He's... he's just so hot.

They both look great for the parts. I can't wait to see them in full costume. I don't recall any of their past movie rolls, but I did see Fiennes in 'Maid in Manhattan'.

Oh my goodness I love Miranda Richerdson she was the evil stepmother in a snow white movie with that chick from smallville. And Ralph Finnes is in that movie the english pat. or something he is steamy. He is going to be the hottest bad guy, like, ever. (I just don't like his teeth). [i]coolio to the max[i] hehehe But I dont think that Daniel Radcliffe and Ralph look that much allike, they are supposed to, shame on Warner Bros!

p.s. They should've used Orlando Bloom he is way hotter and looks more like Dan that Ralphy

Not that I think Finnes do a bad job but why didn't they get the guy from the first movie to play Voldemort? He had a very good evil voice.

WOW! I didn't expect that...
Ralph Fiennes certainly is good actor, but I always imagined him to play Lupin... he looks too nice to be evil.
I always hoped that either John Malkovich or Christopher Walken would eventually end up playing Voldemort, since they look evil...
On the other hand, Ralph Fiennes also played that really evil guy in that sequel to "silence of the lambs", right?
Ah, well, I guess he does well in every role :)
I'm really looking forward to see him as Voldie!

LittleChocolateFrog, if you think Ralph Fiennes looks too nice to be evil, you should watch "Schindler's List". :: Shudder :: He's very good at being a bad guy. John Malkovich or Walken couldn't play Voldie because they're not British, but I know what you mean.

I am glad that they finally posted a confirmed actor for the part of Voldemort. I saw 'Schindler's List' so long ago, I don't remember Ralph's part--I hear he was evil...
I remember Miranda Richardson playing Morgana in 'Merlin'--wow, what an actress!
Can't wait for the movie...
P.S. Lupin wasn't in GOF--just mentioned briefly at the end when Sirius was directed by Dumbledore to reunite some of the members of what we now know as the Order of the Phoenix.
