Thank you HpObsessed4 !
I was going to point that out... I'm glad somone did.
I still think Harry has a lot of bad things headed his way...that may even include death...who's to say it doesn't happen end of his 7th year...it's a possibility we shouldn't rule out. I think Rowling likes to lead us all on like that...confuse us...I heard tons of crazy rumor about book 5 while waiting inline at midnight..."Ron Dies! I read it!"..."No, it's Hermione!"...comming from the young kids behind me. Sheesh.
Anyway, I think we should throw some of this to the wind...it's there, but won't put us anywhere near solving the HP storyline...and why bother!...just wait and read.
Caitlin Grint* , Yes, Aberforth is introduced in book four when Dumbledore is talking to Hagrid about the black sheep in families- after the Rita Skeeter article bashing Hagrid.

Oh this is great news! I'm glad she's nearly finished with book 6... every potter fan should be anticipating it's arrival.
Hmm...this McLagan character...could he perhaps be the Half Blood Prince?

Oh wow, I love news, and news with direct facts...hee hee I feel all giddy inside.
I'm amazed at how many people actually came close to the truth...Aberforth being the barman, I too had my suspiciousions.
McLagan eh? i'm betting it could be the new DADA teacher...
only half way through?! What? thats the most shocking news ever. She's supposed to be having a baby, how the hell can she say its not going to be in the way of her writing. One of her reasons last time for the delay of book 5 was because of a baby!
And yes like [b]HpObsessed4[/] said it does say "to" book 7 and NOT "through" it. Which in my opinion should have already been known to everyone...I mean imagin reading a HP7 with out Harry Potter in it.

What else could Dumbledore's Patronus be? Most of these "tidbits" are actually things that anyone who has read the books more than once should know (except maybe the McLagan thing). Of course Harry will survive through Book 6. If not, what would be the point of Book 7?
Another thing ~ I think Harry will survive Book 7 also. I really just can't imagine her killing him off. I would imagine it would be about like murdering your own child.
*One more thing ~ If I have become engrossed in this other world only to have Harry awake from a dream or lose all his powers and have to live out the rest of his life as a Muggle or some nonsense like that, it will be the single most disappointing ending in the history of literature.

I find it interesting that she says to focus on Voldemort and why he didnt die/why DD didnt kill him- isnt that what most of us have been doing??

That's cool. No one ever really thinks about why Voldemort dies. You just accept what Hagrid says.

This is very interesting. but, we already know why Dumbledore didn,t kill him--the prophecy said that Harry is the only one with the power to kill him. But about the fact that Harry will survive to book seven, I want to know if he will be alive at the end of book seven. I don't think anyone took to mind that Harry can kill Voldemort and still die, that would suck but it's possible. though, I would like to know why Voldemort didn't die-it is really odd, but we must wait.

it's nice to have a confirmation. Yeah, the prophecy said Harry will kill Voldemort (or be killed) and didn't Dumbledore know that?
Yes, JK Rowling, why didn't Voldemort die? (does this have anything to do with the fact that his wand core is a phoenix? *ponders to self*)
