Reading the words "half way" really makes me sad, and a bit upset. With all this hype, I figured she'd be at least almost done with it. When is the book coming out?!?!?!

Excuse me...sorry to be posting so much but I keep on noticing things after I post and then new mssages pop up in my head. For, peloponnesian league, the basic definition of a godmother is, someone who is chosen by the parents as a special sort of guardian to the child... It is the exact same role as Sirius's was but it's feminine. It really has nothing to do with Harry's grandparents or Lily. Well, if he did have a godmother, it might've been Lily's best friend just like Sirius was James's best friend.

I wouldn't have been upset if Harry didn't survive book 7, but this way is good too. but if Harry survives, shouldn't Lord Voldemort survive too? Think back to the prophecy and the way it was worded... somehow this just doesn't make sense...

Hmm thats interesting, means for sure that Harry and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named will both be in book seven, i thought JK might have spiced things up a bit with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named dieing in book 6 and somebody (possibly Wormtail) trying to carry on his masters wishes. Although the book wouldnt be the same without Harry and im glad he is going to make it.

After reading this I spent about two hours DANCING-JUMPING-WALSING AROUND THE HOUSE, CRAZY WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS.... ...until I realized something and started thinking: does this mean that HE WILL SURVIVE THE WHOLE STORY, ...OR JUST THAT HE WILL SURVIVE BOOK SIX??? --and if so......????
So, now I'M EVEN MORE WORRIED, I WISH SHE WASN'T SAYING ANYTHING AT ALL ON THIS MATTER!!!!!!

How will I survive til it comes. But on a serious note, did she mean that he will survive until book seven, during the book, but possibly not past it? Wwwhaaaat?
Harry can't die.......ever!

Very cool information, good stuff to know. I'm glad that Harry survives through book seven, and I hope we get to hear more about him after Hogwarts! This is such a good book series, I just can't bear the thought of it ending so soon!!!!

that was awesome! I thought that Harry is going to die, as there is only one survival, him or Voldemort. I thought his power is not as great as Voldemort, so.. whatever. Glad that he's going to survive though! I hope he will be an auror (is that how you spell it?). It will be cool! And I hope that the trio will survive as well. I just can't wait till it comes out! ^^

I think it was always obvious that Harry was going to survive until book 7. If he didint..then what would be the point of book 7? Everything would be like..if only Harry was alive we would have done this...you know what I mean?

I also think that it was obvious that Harry would survive until book 7. I think its pretty obvious that Voldemort will survive until book 7 as well. Still the next book is going to be so exciting!!

I don't know if Voldemort will survive or not. There were, however, recent interrogations of JKR and she will be writing an 8th book to the series. So I'm guessing that either Harry kills Voldemort in the 7th book and the 8th book is the aftermath, or Harry will kill him in the 8th book. And the final word of the 7th book, "scar" has to be incorporated in there somewhere, unless it is taken out, due to the fact of the now future-outcoming 8th book.

Wow! I'm really glad Harry is going to survive to book 7 but isn't that kind of obvious? I mean, i suppose she could have made a seventh book without harry in it but it would just be info on what happens to the wizarding world after Harry's death, kind of boring right?

Feltonluver, that is hilarious!!! You're right, why would she make Harry drop dead? Unless for some crasy reason the prophecy meant that both of them have to die in order to defeat Voldie?? I don't THINK so!!!!

Well, OF COURSE Harry will live through to book 7! I mean, that was pretty obvious, wasn't it?
I just can't wait till HBP comes out!
Also, isn't it bad to be getting all these clues? Won't it kinda spoil little parts of 6? (Oh well, I still read them all)

Teck says:
Harry will survive "to" book seven, but will he survive "thru" book seven. I highly doubt she would kill him off, unless she did not want to have herself, or anyone write about him. If she did she's good enough to include a good loophole on how he survives. Besides, there are no bounds in a book about magic.
