Many fans awoke today to news that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling had taken down the "Do Not Disturb" sign once again on a door at her official site
.
At first it appears to be an empty room, but there's a bit more to it than that, and the prize is certainly worth the trouble. Here are step-by-step instructions for those who can't be bothered to figure it out on their own:

So I headed to JKR's site first thing when I logged on today and almost fell off my chair when the door opened! Problem was, it was 2pm CST by then and I was actually about the last to know there was some news! Ho well! I did use the help given to find out the secret info, I must admit!
I echo the sentiments of those who think this character may be Godric Gryffindor or the new DADA teacher (who could be named McLagen). I don't see JKR introducing many new characters at this point so it has to be either the known (Gryffindor) or as-yet unknown (new DADA teacher).

Wait i just went back and read it and its not very clear weather shes talking about a lion or a human first it says about the maine..and then w/ the glasses? a lion with glasses? well this IS the harry potter world and she IS jkr. with that she could be describing a extremely deformed monkey hey think about it, with JKR's humor?:0)

I am o gutted because I get to the point of clicking the paper and then I can not read the paper because it disappears! Can anyone tell me how they got to read the paper. I did get to see something that was describing something of a new character on another website but I don't know if it is the same thing in the safe?
