Many fans awoke today to news that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling had taken down the "Do Not Disturb" sign once again on a door at her official site

At first it appears to be an empty room, but there's a bit more to it than that, and the prize is certainly worth the trouble. Here are step-by-step instructions for those who can't be bothered to figure it out on their own:

Yey Finally I managed to turn the lite on now I just need to drow the darts hope thats not as hard as turning the lite on.

I think that they will tell us the release date pretty soon. All of these new clues about the book, this happened when the OOTP release date came out. If she was not even done with the book yet, she wouldnt be revealing all of this stuff: name of book, excerpt, clues such as there is a new minister, the hogs head guy is dumbledores brother and etc.

its a very dumbledoreish description, red(ish) hair(dumbldore was a red head as a young man), specks.

HAHA - before I looked up what was going on I thought something was wrong because the door was just black. I had to look up how to do it cause I had no idea. I'm normally better than that at solving puzzles - but seeing as how I had nothing to go on and no idea where to start ... hehehe! Oy - I wonder who this character is? Surely it's not the half blood prince - I wonder if it's the new DADA teacher... :)

Awesome! I already opened the door. I think it's obviously a description of the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher. I had to get the steps from Mugglenet though. HPANA wouldn't load onto my computer. But it was fun opening the door. JK sure is creative.

Thinking about it, the discription leads me to belive it's Godric Griffindor. Like it could be someone's memory or Penesive....Maybe something like the Riddles Diary.....The way he is described like a lion pulles me to the idea that if it isn't Griffindor then it is a person that was in the Griffindor house.
