sends word that a woman on Radio France claimed that one of her relatives is working for the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire taking care of ferrets. The obvious passage with Mad-Eye Moody and Draco Malfoy comes to mind:
This morning, on a French radio report (Radio France), a woman was interviewed and she said some things about the 4th Harry Potter set, and especially about the animals training on the set. It seems that one of her relatives is working now in Oxford and is taking care of ferrets for some scenes in GoF.
Clearly, you can think about the Malfoy/Moody scene, but that's only a deduction - time will tell. And it can also be cut at the end of the filming, but we all know now that there is a possibility that we can see this famous scene in [the movie].
In the book - the fourth in JK Rowling's series - the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Mad-Eye Moody turns Draco Malfoy into a ferret briefly:
Harry spun around. Professor Moody was limping down the marble staircase. His wand was out and it was pointing right at a pure white ferret, which was shivering on the stone-flagged floor, exactly where Malfoy had been standing.
...
"Don't talk to me," Ron said quietly to Harry and Hermione as they sat down at the Gryffindor table a few minutes later, surĀrounded by excited talk on all sides about what had just happened.
"Why not?" said Hermione in surprise.
"Because I want to fix that in my memory forever," said Ron, his eyes closed and an uplifted expression on his face. "Draco Malfoy, the amazing bouncing ferret."

Hmmm, I'm not sure if this is good news or bad news...I never thought of it as a particularly important part in the book. I, personally, think they should cut it and use the time for something else, like, maybe a longer Yule Ball, or graveyard scene or Triwizard Task....

Oh, they better not cut that scene! It's one of the funniest parts of the entire series - right up there with Fred and George's grand exit from Hogwarts. I'm so curious to see how they do Moody - he's such a weird and interesting character. How do you get to be an animal trainer for films? That sounds like a pretty cool job!

I can't wait for this movie to come out! With all this news coming out all the time it's going to make me very impatient since the movie isn't even coming out until late next year! It sounds like it's going to be worth the wait though.

This is good news. With all of the talk about cut scenes, the one with Malfoy and Moody is a favorite of mine. I'd be a little upset if it wasn't included in the movie.

That was like one of the best scenes in the entire book! I cracked up so loudly that I think my mother thought there was something wrong with me or something... like I had gotten hold of avocados again... that was disasterous... Anyway, I can't wait for GoF! Now more so than ever!

This makes me very happy. I had heard that they were cutting it before, but I'm sooooo glad that they're not. This won't be my favorite scene, but you really can't have GoF without it. ;)

I seriously hope they have the "ferret" scene in GoF, its one of the funniest. If they have ferrets, then more than likely they will have the scene in my opinion.
