sends word that a woman on Radio France claimed that one of her relatives is working for the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire taking care of ferrets. The obvious passage with Mad-Eye Moody and Draco Malfoy comes to mind:
This morning, on a French radio report (Radio France), a woman was interviewed and she said some things about the 4th Harry Potter set, and especially about the animals training on the set. It seems that one of her relatives is working now in Oxford and is taking care of ferrets for some scenes in GoF.
Clearly, you can think about the Malfoy/Moody scene, but that's only a deduction - time will tell. And it can also be cut at the end of the filming, but we all know now that there is a possibility that we can see this famous scene in [the movie].
In the book - the fourth in JK Rowling's series - the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Mad-Eye Moody turns Draco Malfoy into a ferret briefly:
Harry spun around. Professor Moody was limping down the marble staircase. His wand was out and it was pointing right at a pure white ferret, which was shivering on the stone-flagged floor, exactly where Malfoy had been standing.
...
"Don't talk to me," Ron said quietly to Harry and Hermione as they sat down at the Gryffindor table a few minutes later, surĀrounded by excited talk on all sides about what had just happened.
"Why not?" said Hermione in surprise.
"Because I want to fix that in my memory forever," said Ron, his eyes closed and an uplifted expression on his face. "Draco Malfoy, the amazing bouncing ferret."

That is good.
It is such a classic scene and it needs to be kept in the movie, plus it adds a little humor to the serious plot.

That rocks! I hope that they don't pull that scene from the movie, it's one of my favorites from GoF. Let's just hope that this isn't a case of 'I know someone who has a friend that has a cousin that knows someone...'

That scene is THE BEST! I laugh every time I watch it. I wonder how they'll make a real ferret look like it's bouncing. Probably CGI or something.

I imagined Tom Felton missing his fishing tournament to be turned into a ferret on the set. Looks like the evidence points to this hilarious scene being filmed -- I hope it makes the final cut!

That's all fine and dandy, but I don't want to see any ferret getting tortured. Yes, yes, I know they don't REALLY get hurt, but I'm a huge ferret fan, and that would still upset me.
Of course, seeing that happen to Draco in the flesh wouldn't be too great, either.
Hmm...I think they should let about 1,000 ferrets loose on Hogwarts grounds. Now that would be cool.
:)
Peace
