sends word that a woman on Radio France claimed that one of her relatives is working for the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire taking care of ferrets. The obvious passage with Mad-Eye Moody and Draco Malfoy comes to mind:
This morning, on a French radio report (Radio France), a woman was interviewed and she said some things about the 4th Harry Potter set, and especially about the animals training on the set. It seems that one of her relatives is working now in Oxford and is taking care of ferrets for some scenes in GoF.
Clearly, you can think about the Malfoy/Moody scene, but that's only a deduction - time will tell. And it can also be cut at the end of the filming, but we all know now that there is a possibility that we can see this famous scene in [the movie].
In the book - the fourth in JK Rowling's series - the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Mad-Eye Moody turns Draco Malfoy into a ferret briefly:
Harry spun around. Professor Moody was limping down the marble staircase. His wand was out and it was pointing right at a pure white ferret, which was shivering on the stone-flagged floor, exactly where Malfoy had been standing.
...
"Don't talk to me," Ron said quietly to Harry and Hermione as they sat down at the Gryffindor table a few minutes later, surĀrounded by excited talk on all sides about what had just happened.
"Why not?" said Hermione in surprise.
"Because I want to fix that in my memory forever," said Ron, his eyes closed and an uplifted expression on his face. "Draco Malfoy, the amazing bouncing ferret."

That's one of the best scenes in GoF, I really hope they keep it in. Obviously JKR knows what her readers will really enjoy seeing in the movie version, just like she kept the slapping/punching scene in POA!

Let us all hope that it will stay in the film! I am encouraged by the news from Newell that he wants to stay true to the book. Again, a concept that is left open to interpretation. Hearing of the ferret scene makes me anxious to see GoF.
