The door at JKRowling.com has opened to reveal a surprise from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Highlight the area below to read the instructions, but do not read if you don't want to be spoiled. Enjoy!
A riddle appears:
One by one we come to life
The side-by-side we wait
While our company swells in numbers
(Some come early, some come late)

And some of us enthral
But you cannot choose between us
You must take us one and all
We'll be bound together tightly
For we're naught if we break free
If you'd like some clues about is
Simply answer: WHO ARE WE?"
The answer is CHAPTERS. You then will go to Jo's desk, open the drawer, lift the magnifying glass, scroll over the folder and lift the pages that are sticking out of the top. Your reward: Three chapters titles from book 6!

I was just rereading JK Rowling's interview from the Book Festival and I was thinking that maybe the title for Chapter 14, instead of being a person or a spell, could it be a potion???
Here's an exercpt from the interivew:
How do you make up the weird names for the potions?
Sometimes invention gives out. I was writing the latest chapter of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and I needed to come up with another name for another potion. I sat for ten minutes at the keyboard then I just typed “X”. I thought, “I’ll go back and fill that in later.” Sometimes you really want to get on with the story. Sometimes names just come to you, which is a great feeling, but sometimes it is difficult and you have to batter your brain for a while. Sometimes it comes to you while you are washing up or on the loo or something. My husband is quite used to me saying, “Wait!” then running up stairs and writing something down.

I went to the englisch site last night because the german one wasnt working... we never saw the keys...
but now I am wondering - what is written at the edge of the paper under the folder by the rim of the magnifying glass? I see it says "Harry" and is circled - then something... I am thinking it says "Harry (circled) _____ forgets"! What do you guys think?!?! I am really excited to know that there are at least fourteen chapters... although I hope there are more like 30 something! Can't wait for the publishing date!!!

Even though one of the chapters IS fourteen, the riddle did say that some are finished before others are so it unfortunately doesn't mean that she is finished with the book, or close to finishing.

I never read the names of the chapters of the books- there's no time in my reading world.
The first one is the second one of those in the book- is it a place?
The second seems pretty self-explanatory, or it will once we get there...
The third is quite far on, the fourteenth- not that far on I suppose, but a way through the plot. Is anyone supposing that it's the name of the lion-like fella she told us about before? Is this too obvious or did I just win the Grand Prize for being obscenely clever?
