Harry Potter actress Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) will take part in the lighting of the Oxford Street Christmas Lights on Monday, Nov. 15. Ms. Watson will join other celebrities to take part in the turn-on of the light display which is being sponsored by the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban DVD release. There will also be a Harry Potter themed light show each night through Jan. 5.
"This year's Oxford Street Christmas Lights will be more magical than ever before as characters from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban brighten up Britain's biggest shopping street. To delight all Harry Potter fans even more, each night there will be a spectacular Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban light show. During this breathtaking display, the spellbinding 21st century lights will be choreographed to the film's soundtrack, with a finale of Harry casting the Patronus charm."

Harry Potter themed light show?!?! Sounds kind of cheesy to me, but I'm sure I'd go if I could and I bet I'd love it, too. I can't believe we're already talking about Christmas trees! It's only a few weeks into November. Anyhow, hope that Emma has fun and maybe we'll even get to see some photos of the event!

Grrrrrr! Why do all the cool events happen in Britain? Okay, I know why, but there is a whole wide world out there!
I wish I could go to London this winter. I went in 1999 on Boxing Day and came back on the third of January. Edinburgh (?) was my favorite city, but that's in Scotland.
