Emma Watson, Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter movies, appeared at the annual Oxford Street Christmas Lights today to kick off the holiday season and FilmMagic.com has just posted some pictures
of the event.
Emma commented
on being there to turn on the lights:
I have wanted to do it ever since I was very young and I saw the Spice Girls do it. I love Oxford Street. I have come here most Christmases because I love the lights and all the beautiful displays in all the shops.
The following sites have also posted additional pictures: Miss-Watson.org
, Wire Image
and Harry Loves Hermione
. Fan site Emma-Watson.net has a report as well as some picture which can be viewed here
.
Remember there will also be a Harry Potter-themed light show each night through Jan. 5.

I swear, she just gets prettier as she gets older. By the time she hits her 20's, she will be dangerously beautiful.
Looks like they had a blast!

WHY IS IT THAT EVERYTIME SHE DOES SOMETHING. IT MAKES THE NEWS?
Nevermind. it's a stupid question. i already knows the answer.. because she is the "talented" actress of Hermione Granger, the nice and smart Harry Potter charater...
So, i "am" glad that she is doing this at OXFORD, the school that i admire, but no way of going to... and having a good time.
it's nice that she is celebrating Christmas, and everyone loves her... hee hee...
you know what?? i think i should just shut up now.. hee hee

That is cool! It is such an honor. I would really love to go see that light show, but yet againg the annoyingly large Atlantic Ocean seperates me from all the wonderful Harry Potter events.

Haha, I remember the Spice Girls. And now it's Emma's turn. Has anyone noticed that every little thing Emma does, it's in the news? What about Rupert? Dan? Tom Felton? They are certainly commendable as well. But anyway, it doesn't matter, it's still an honor anyway around.
