Harry Potter web site MuggleNet is reporting that the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince may be announced in January 2005. MuggleNet states that they have received numerous tips from bookstores stating that they have been given memos warning them to expect a release date for book 6 to be announced in January 2005 and to be prepared for questions from the public.

I think the publishing date will be announced on Christmas Day, as it is one of Harry's favourite days of the year, and also it would be a nice christmas gift to her fans from Jo.

I hope they DO announce it, since I am DYING to read the next book, and I feel as if I have waited quite long enough. Besides, I need time to read the first five all over again, and want to time it out.
