Harry Potter web site MuggleNet is reporting that the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince may be announced in January 2005. MuggleNet states that they have received numerous tips from bookstores stating that they have been given memos warning them to expect a release date for book 6 to be announced in January 2005 and to be prepared for questions from the public.

This is so exciting! Maybe there was some truth to all the rumors. I'm really surprised at this announcement. I was prepared to wait for another year after the speculated date of summer 2005.

Ugh! I keep checking to see if there's any updates to this. It's driving me crazy. I hope it's true, but we'll probably find out in a couple of days if someone pops up to deny it.

I'm hoping for a June release as I'll actually have time to do my tradtional celebration of a new release. If not, I'll have to make time! That's just the way it is.

It would be great and make sense because she is going to be really busy after that taking care of the newbie. The book would have to be at the publisher's about then to make it out in May, so the announcement date sounds about right for that too... Dare i hope???

mugglenet's a trusty site, right??? Oh god, I hope it's more than a rumor! Every single time I think that I could concievably hold HBP in my eager arms and then read it, something that seems soooooo out of reach makes me squeal. I can't wait!! And OotP's release date was given out in Jan too, a friend on this site, Hecaton, kindly looked it up for me!
