Scholastic's suggested retail price is $29.99 and Bloomsbury's is £16.99.
It was announced earlier today that Half-Blood Prince will be released July 16, 2005.
Barnes & Noble will be hosting events celebrating the publication on July 15 and remaining open until 12:01 on July 16 when the book officially goes on sale.

I am not going to pre-order because I'll never be convinced that it will arrive on time. I am going to pick it up at midnight, go straight home, stay up until I finish than sleep 'till 4p.m. than read it again, than come to HPANA, and talk about the book with all my HPANA friends!

When my copy comes i am going to huge it gaze at it for a couple minutes. The i am going to make some cookies, buy some drinks. Set up pillows and a blankets on the couch. Get comfy open the book then read the chapter names then start. =D

Oh my gosh! i can't believe it, i thought JK was never going to put the book out, FINALLY! I was so happy when i saw it. i mean I was just sitting at my kitchen table, when my brothers start screaming "Harry potter is on the news" at that moment i ran like i've never ran before. I saw it and thought I was going to faint. i was so happy, I was screaming, i called all my friends and we were a big screaming family!!!! Well bye for now!
