In an interview with British newspaper The Express, Julie Walters
(Mrs. Weasley) from the Harry Potter movies confirms that she will not be making an appearance in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Ms. Walters discusses her feelings about not being in the movie:
To be honest, I was a bit hurt not to be in it. The kids love the Harry Potter films so much and I get lots of mail about it. I can understand why they've had to pare down the film as the book is so long but I am really hoping I'll be in again for the next one.

I agree with Sassafras. One of the best scenes in GoF is definitely when Mrs. Weasley is happy that the twins are home after the quidditch match. I can't wait to see the quidditch match- quidditch is my favorite scenes in all of the movies!

Awwwww poor Julie. She better be back for OotP. Julie is great as Mrs. W. I wonder how they'll work around that in the movie because she's in it at the start and when all the championsfamilies come to visit Mrs. W. comes for Harry! Will Harry be all alone?

This is really a shocking disappointment! First we find we miss out on the entire scene with the Dursleys and Weasleys at the book's beginning, now we find out that there will be no Mrs. Weasley. And I think they are still planning on not having Bill and Charlie. Oh, and let's not forget the snubbing of Percy! It will be interesting to see how they work some of these characters in for the next films. I mean Percy is going to be a major factor in the upcomming story line, and his omission from GOF will make it rather confusing when they try and fit him in later on. I mean, so much of his character is developed in GOF....Frankly, I'm getting a smidge tired of this relentless parade of characters and/or scenes being deleted. Makes me wonder what and who will actually end up in the final cut. I really hope they don't screw this film up! It's my second fave book in the HP series! Grumble! Grumble!

As before, we'll have to treat the movies as something differrent from the books....I still don't see why they can't follow the model of other movies and split them into halves that they could film at the same time but release seperately....to me this make good business sense too ......
