In an interview with British newspaper The Express, Julie Walters
(Mrs. Weasley) from the Harry Potter movies confirms
that she will not be making an appearance in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Ms. Walters discusses her feelings about not being in the movie:
To be honest, I was a bit hurt not to be in it. The kids love the Harry Potter films so much and I get lots of mail about it. I can understand why they've had to pare down the film as the book is so long but I am really hoping I'll be in again for the next one.

I'm realy disapointed. Molly has a small but important role of "parent substatute". :/

Well that's too bad! Julie Walters is such an excellent Mrs. Weasley. At least we get to see Arthur Weasley.... We've seen pic of him. Molly will be back in OoP, though. They CAN'T leave her out of that one....

Oh! This is such sad news for Julie Walters. Mrs. Weasley and Bill came to support Harry during the final task, not just as a friend of the family, but as the only family who cared enough about him to bring him into their family fold, no questions asked! Mrs. Weasley's part in GOF may have been small, but it wasn't small in terms of giving a more human depth to the characters so that we could all relate to such family dynamics. I sincerely hope Julie Walters will be in the OotP as the irrepressible Molly! :)

Thats too bad that Mrs. Weasley won't be in Goblet of Fire, but she didnt exactly move the plotline forward, so they can do without her. I wonder if Bill and Charlie will be in it though.

That's so bad that people keep getting cut out of the films. Its so sad, i'm gonna miss em. I really do hope to see her in the next film. I wish they wouldn't cut so much, the movie will get so ruined. :(

I am surprised... She does have a few parts in this book... The Dursleys have one big one too... They were all cut... I guess that means that there will not be a ton-tongue toffee scene between Dudley & the Twins... I was looking forward to that... It would made for GREAT special effects... That means that they are probably going to start GoF from the Quiddich World Cup... I can't understand that... I am sure that they could have reconsidered... We have to look at the bright side thought... at least they didn't replace her w/another Mrs. Weasley... THAT would have sucked...
I believe that the comment she makes about the Womping Willow is important in GoF because it dates her for us... we don't know how old she is yet...

skeeter news says:
I am beyond disappointed! Mrs. Weasley is the closest thing to a mother that Harry has...and...the part at the end of the book where she holds him to comfort him is such a touching moment (before Hermione slams her fist on the window). This is the part of the HP series that us parents can easily relate to. What a shame...there goes the perfect movie ending.

I hope she's in the next one too! Man, she's certainly as an actress the Mrs. Weasley that I imagined. She plays the part so perfectly! It is just going to be the biggest loss in GoF in her not being it. I suppose sacrifices are inevitable in such a movie, however.

This is completely appalling! No Mrs. Weasley!?!?! Who the heck is going to be cheering for Harry at the Third Task....Draco? Good grief, sometimes these writers and casting directors astound me. First, no Oliver Wood in PoA, no Dursleys, and now, no Mrs. Weasley! I mean, c'mon, Sirius Black's part is smaller than Mrs. Weasely's and he's still in the film!
