In an interview with British newspaper The Express, Julie Walters
(Mrs. Weasley) from the Harry Potter movies confirms that she will not be making an appearance in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Ms. Walters discusses her feelings about not being in the movie:
To be honest, I was a bit hurt not to be in it. The kids love the Harry Potter films so much and I get lots of mail about it. I can understand why they've had to pare down the film as the book is so long but I am really hoping I'll be in again for the next one.

I am sorry to hear that they felt Molly's part wasn't vital enough to keep in the movie, i have always felt she sort of tied Harry to a family he could feel comfortable with. If it is a time thing I believe that longer is better, and would gladly sit through a 4 hour movie just so it fit the story line.

Thats a little bit disappointing. But if they don't have her in the next movie, they are going to be seriously wrong. And I do think they will need the Dursley's next movie as well. I am starting to get very concerned about pulling off movie five, and movie four isn't even out yet.

I suppose she didn't play too much of an important role in the book. It also shows us that HArry won't be at the Weasley's house because she isn't in it.

Wow, that is news to me. Now, I'm wondering how are they going to actually start the film off, usually it was the Dursley's then the Weasley's. And, I really like Mrs. Weasley, Julie Walters is an absolutely great actress and they will be missing out on an important element without her character. And, I understand they have to cut things out because it is a big book. But, what are they going to do when they do get to The Order of Phoenix? I will miss her that is for sure!

Okay now I'm really worried about this movie! How and the crap are you going to leave out Mrs. Weasely?! What about when she and Charlie come to visit Harry at Hogwarts? Or after he gets back from the graveyard in the hospital?! What are these people playing at? Next movie, they're going to decide that Dumbledore won't be making an appearance, or maybe Sirius won't be in it! I am really starting to hate this frickin movie!!

they need to keep the characters in the movies. i know the creators of the movie need to keep it a certain length, but i think they shouldn't take out any major characters. Mrs. Weasley isn't that important in this film, but she is in the next film.
But otherwise, the movie creators are doing a great job.

Thats quite frankly disgraceful... Mrs Weasly is an important character, and Julie Walters plays her ever so well... I think we're all hurt by this decision!
WB has gone too far this time! This movie is going to be a total flop.

Hopefully she will be in Order of the Phoenix. I don't think that they could possibly cut her out of that one.
