The Ron Weasley actor told French magazine One he has little desire to couple with Hermione Granger in upcoming Harry Potter movies.
"Everyone expects that Ron and Hermione will go out," said Rupert Grint, "but I don't think that would be an effective finish. I must say that this idea doesn't delight me... At the moment, I have no desire to play the romantic scenes. I already had a lot of trouble with certain scenes in Prisoner of Azkaban in which I had to hold Emma's hand, then be embarrassed."

Grint also discussed what he'd like to do outside of acting, how similar he and Ron are when it comes to finishing homework, and whether or not he'll be sticking around for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. A full translation can be seen on Veritaserum.
Rupert was also snapped by photographers outside a recent filming of British television show An Audience with Al Murray, for which several Weasley family members apparently appeared:

Finally, rounding out Rupert news, the actor is in negotiations to star in a new film, Driving Lessons, according to the Rod Hall Agency Ltd. and Actual Management. Veritaserum got confirmation from a representative, who said: "It is the early days but I can confirm we are in negotiations for Rupert to star in the movie, due to shoot later this year."

Yeah I think that Rupert wil stay and the others will too. THe only one I have concerns about really is Draco (also known as) Tom Felton as he is aging very quickly (no offense) and is already a lot older then his character. However he might just get away with it. We'll have to see in Goblet of Fire. If Emma, Dan or Rupert (or any others for that matter) left it may spoil the films as they suit the parts perfectly and I personally wouldn't play Harry Potter instead of Dan as he is brill and I would feel paranoid all the time. Anyway Rupert is a brill actor and even voicer as he played the vioce of Peter Pan in the BBC series at Christmas or New year. It was fab!

I certainly got to know a few things about Rupert that I did'nt already know.I mean I don't like to go the hairdresser either but if I were in his place, I wouldn't object to shoot a few scenes together with Emma,but then again, it's probably because I'm a bit crazy about Emma.
Rupert's a great actor, I'm sure he has a bright future in the world of acting.As far as his laziness goes, he's just got to find things of his interest to do and he should realize that he's not going to get anywhere without good grades in his school.As much as I would love to see Rupert in all the Harry Potter films, I also don't want him to be a failure in his life because he was never good at school.
So I wish Rupert the best of luck, academically and in his acting career.

I think that in the story in the end Ron and Hermione will be toghether.There are to many signs in the book and in the film( in the 3rd one she hols Rons hand when she is scared of the hipogriff ) thats what i think and in the 4th book Ron is very gelous of Hermione because she is going with Krum to dance.In the 5th book i don't know (i'm reading it now )>In the end i think they will be toghether.That is what i think maybe i'm wrong maybe not we will see(read).

It's hard to say what's in store for Ron & Hermione. I hope book 6 brings some romance for all 3 of them. As Harry and cho seem to be pretty much heading for romance, I would guess that leaves Ron & Hermione to move in that direction together as well. Mind you, I have found that just when you think you have it figured out, JK throws a curve and move everyone in a new direction. As for changing actors for the next movies, I think the studio would be nuts to make any changes to the core group, and let's hope the actors don't decide they want mega-tons of more money to stay. DD had to be changed through the sad passing of the original actor and while I quite like him in PoA, I did miss the original. Please keep the original actors.

For the sake of my best friend, I'm glad Ron is not going to end up with Granger, but with my luck, they will end up for something. It'll be interesting to see him in other projects, hopefully with the same humor and personality he portrays with Ron W. But since it's a different character, of course traits will differ. I wish him luck!

I think he will be sticking aroung for the next few films. It is too big of a role to walk away from and if they change the principal characters around now, they will lose some of the continuity within the films.
