Rupert Grint, Ronald Weasley from the Harry Potter movies, participated in pre-Red Nose Day celebrations in the UK by appearing on the Dick 'n Dom Comic Relief in da Bungalow show on BBC Two.
The sketch involved Rupert running around the National Portrait Gallery
in London with one of the hosts of the show and yelling 'boogies' to the dismay of the public. The winners of the show will participate in a special competition on Friday, Red Nose
night.
Thanks to Rupertonline.net
you can watch the video as well as view some screen shots of Rupert's appearance.
UPDATE: RGMS has put up a better quality video
of the show.
CBBC Newsround has additional information on the show here
and some pictures
.

Cool! I missed it (could you even see it?) as usual but that film was good - I kind of love it when the actors take part in charity kind of things - it makes the world love them more.

For people who are asking.
Red nose day (comic Relief) is a charity event type of thing.
The comic relief side of things is using comedy to encourage donations and there is 1 main night every 2 years in which comedy sketches by actors, actresses, top comedians, singers etc take part in sketches and perform. Its basically a madcap night where you can phone in a donate money that goes to loads of different charities.
The other part of Comic Relief: Every red nose day a red nose is desigined (resembling a clowns nose) that you wear as well are car air fresheners, badges (in the shape of a nose) and clothes(t-shirts and stuff).
This year the nose is made from rubber with a huge smily face and multicoloured hair but previous years its had troll style hair, it made farting noises, was designed like a tomato. All sorts.
Wow I talk to much.
Its basically a fun day where stars get together to raise money for good causes using comedy.
Its not a public holiday or anything.

Red nose day (comic Relief) is a charity event type of thing.
Comic Relief was set up by comedians and uses comedy and laughter to get serious messages across, as well as making sure that everyone can have some fun at the same time. Over the years, more than 2050 celebrities have given their time and talent to Comic Relief, you name 'em, they've helped. From Lenny Henry, Billy Connolly, John Cleese and Jerry Springer to Johnny Depp, Ali G, Davina McCall, Robbie Williams, Steve Coogan, Paul Whitehouse, Whoopi Goldberg and Woody Allen.
(A lot of those are people only known here but they're quite big)
Red Nose Day is a UK-wide fundraising event organised by Comic Relief every two years which culminates in a night of extraordinary comedy and moving documentary films. It's the biggest TV fundraising event in the UK calendar. On Red Nose Day everyone in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is encouraged to cast inhibitions aside, put on a red nose, and do something a little bit silly to raise money - celebrities included. It is an event that unites the entire nation in trying to make a difference to the lives of thousands of individuals facing terrible injustice or living in abject poverty
Its not a public holiday or anything, I've read that some of you thought that.

Well done Rupert for supporting Red Nose Day. I suppose Dan is too busy finishing off Film 4. Shame, but I would prefer that Film 4 is finished earlier.

Hmmm, Red Nose Day, never heard that before.
So, everyone's wearing that scary red nose? Why it has to be red, not green or blue? I mean, red is already used by the clown, which by the way so creepy. And on top of it, blue or green or purple will be great....
