Rupert Grint, Ronald Weasley from the Harry Potter movies, participated in pre-Red Nose Day celebrations in the UK by appearing on the Dick 'n Dom Comic Relief in da Bungalow show on BBC Two.
The sketch involved Rupert running around the National Portrait Gallery
in London with one of the hosts of the show and yelling 'boogies' to the dismay of the public. The winners of the show will participate in a special competition on Friday, Red Nose night.

I'm gald that Rupert is helping out with the charities, atleast that's what they say he was doing. and did you people look at his hair, isn't he gonna get a trim or something, by the time of the 7th movie(rupert will hopefully be here) he will have realllly long hair.

Its not really a 'holiday' as such, its just a day we have every other year to have a laugh and raise money (talking millions) for charities in the UK and Africa. Thats why its so great Rupert is doing that... whether you find it funny or not (which I think it is - I'm so going to do that with my friends sometime!).
