These covers are pretty cool. It shows that Dumbledore is back to working actively with Harry in the crisis that Book 6 will be.
I think Harry will be Dumbledore's sucessor.
The UK adult version of an old tattered book is interesting and certainly original. Have you ever seen a brand new book with a cover of an old beat up book cover? And, Advanced Potions. That gives us a clue that potions will be important in Book 6.

Quidditchcaptain, are you serious?! The American versions are definitely NOT hideous! In my opinion, they have consistently been the best covers-Mary GranPre does such a great job! The other versions are also really great, it's really interesting to see what each design artist thought was the most important thing to put on the cover. I think the British adult version is the most informative, though-having the Advanced Potions book could mean alot of things. For starters, I'm guessing Harry got an Outstanding in potions and is going on to the advanced course, which is really great seeing as how he needs it if he ever wants to be an Auror-which he better, after the row Umbridge and McGonagall had!

I like the adult cover but I will get a child edition because beneath the dust-jackets the adult editions are pretty poor quality. I bought an adult OotP and it started to look worn and shabby after the third read even though I take very good care of my books. My sister's child copy is far more resilient.

It's kind of LOTRish, with the fire flames and all. But it looks fantastic, and stunning. Gorgeous!

I love the new covers!! I didn't think I could be anymore excited about the new book, but I was wrong. I like the American cover best, but that could be because I have the American cover for the previous books. Seeing the covers makes me curious as to what happens next.

I am really glad the books already have a cover. They are amazing, and they kind of tell some clues. The expectations are incredible, and i'm sure it will be another great book. Just a little bit dissapointed, 'cause jk rowling always makes them bigger(always expeecting a bigger one) but just imagine the quantity of paper it will take for the 7th book, if she continues like that.

I really like the covers. They look great!! I think that I like the Scholastic book cover the best though, because that is what I'm used to seeing with all of the rest of the books. The adult edition of the UK and Canada one looks almost real, like a picture. And the UK and Canada children's edition looks pretty cool too.

ABSOLUTELY adorable! I really like them!
I think there's going to be something about "potions" in the next book. Something big that was shaddowed in Book 2.
Hmmm....?
This just brings 1000 new theories up! !)

Finally.
A trace of the book. I can't wait till Half-blooded prince comes out. The covers are so mysterious. I wonder if harry will take newt potions. He will have to to become an auror when he lives past book 7.

I love the covers! I don't know how much longer I can wait! By the look of the adult version Harry passed his OWLS and got into advanced potions. Altough by the look of the book it might be Ron.

I love the covers - kind of reminds me of the Lemony Snicket artwork! Major question: does the Potions book on the UK adult version means Harry gets to do NEWT Potions, or does it link to the Moste Potente Potions from COS??
